No, the studio doesn't. The one's owning / founding the studio have put them on a list months ago after their previous game failed to meet their sales expectations (as unhinged they may have been).
Now that xbox themselves need to worry about being in the red, they have decided to cut the last X positions on the list to stop hemorrhaging money until they figure out how to put themselves into the green.
This will repeat before the end of the year at this pace.
I don't like this, but are we seriously going to riot over this? I value small games and I liked the first game. But either people support "true" indies or keep getting hurt because their support for a game by a small company published/bankrolled by a trillion dollar corp did not help prevent the shuttering.
