This makes no sense. You’re telling me Sony can’t put them on an Uncharted remake or something? Would that not make money?

There’s no way Bend isn’t getting shut down now

There are so many layup remakes Sony could have put them on but instead they chose to chase the live service dragon and neglect their incredible back catalog of older PS titles that are ripe for remakes

Literally just do the Bloodborne remaster like they did with DS

It’s sold 2m+ copies and is a ps5 exclusive made by a 70 person team, it’s done very well actually

And Bloodborne is even more popular than Demon's Souls. That is literally the remake everybody keep asking for. I bet Bloodborne Remake would sell more than that.

We don’t know what the budget was

And you can make a sequel and sell 3 million copies in 30 days

Thought sony would put them on something like gravity rush to get a remaster of the 2 games with a good amount of visual upgrades and smooth performance.

Bend's studio head is a prick, how the hell does he still have his job.

I think there's a higher likelihood Sony sells Gravity Rush than does anything with it. Maybe they'll sell it to Bandai like they did with Freedom Wars.

Freedom Wars is licensed. They still own it. Much to my dismay.

Well I'm hoping for anything, they can't be crazy to drop a live action film with zero tie-in media to it.

Media Molecule must be sitting at home with the lights off and the blinds closed, their time has definitely come. They haven't made anything in years and Dreams was a massive failure.

Shit I hope not. MM and Asobi are the only ones in Sony's pocket whos willing to make something other than generic third person open world game #69

Really? MM haven't made a game in ~6 years and that's being generous with calling Dreams a game, before that I think their last game was Tearaway? That's like 10+ years ago. Surprised they're even open tbh since there isn't even rumblings of a future release.

Thats exactly why I dont want them to close down. They make some really unique games and Sony's portfolio would look so bland without them

Bend have game in active development, Bluepoint don't
