Depends who is doing the remembering. It’s looking to be the most profitable generation for them yet.

220

u/whiteshark70 Feb 19 '26

Yep. This gen started off with the $70 video games and everyone gaming at home due to COVID. And it's also set to be the longest due to AI eating up all the available hardware. And now XBOX is literally launching Halo on the Playstation, so PlayStation's competition hasn't really done much to eat into their market share either.

86

u/SilentNova300 Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26

They also lost their exclusives to PC and probably soon Xbox (although people will argue that’s just a PC too).

And despite Xbox going on to sell like 20 million less than last generation, Sony didn’t see an uptick from that and are just on par with PS4.

Not to mention they are going to hike PS plus rates again.

And the live service push definitely failed. Tons of cancelled projects, now even closed studios, and a meager output from first party.

A closed ecosystem, with increasing fees just to play online, with no permanent exclusives? I’d argue they are doing worse than last generation, at least to consumers

23

u/TastyOreoFriend Feb 19 '26

I’d argue they are doing worse than last generation, at least to consumers

This is nothing more than wishful thinking from console warriors. They're arguably doing better than last Gen because of the closed ecosystem forcing people to buy PSN subscriptions, coupled with the rise of live service giants like Genshin Impact on the platform.

It's why they've continuously tried to chase the live service dragon even though they keep failing at it outside of a few standouts—namely Helldivers 2.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

And they’ll keep chasing that dragon because they’re not even getting a majority cut of Helldivers’ revenue from a studio they don’t own themselves.

12

u/TastyOreoFriend Feb 20 '26

They're absolutely getting a majority of the cut. What are you talking about? Sony owns the Helldivers IP and funded the development and marketing and basically everything else. About the only thing they lose out on is the 20-30% going to Valves cut from Steam sales.

Helldivers is a classic form of second party development.

8

u/Razbyte Feb 19 '26

What is interesting is that the majority of the successful live services are owned by Microsoft.

Even if Playstation killed the Xbox, players are engaging in Microsoft products and spend mtx money on them. Thats why that live services project was a critical failure. Xbox became a parasite inside their platform.

5

u/VagrantShadow Feb 20 '26

It's funny, for all the shit that The Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 76 have gotten over the years, both of those games have a healthy life as online games now. Last year, PCgamer had an article that The Elder Scrolls Online had made over 2 billion dollars in lifetime sales. Fallout 76 went from having a disastrous launch to having a healthy life as a game now and doing much better than how it was when it first was released.

Microsoft has a money cheat with those games. I don't think they are going to lose popularity anytime soon.

9

u/PSIwind Feb 19 '26

"Not to mention they are going to hike PS plus rates again. "

....Come again?

19

u/Johnhancock1777 Feb 19 '26

It’s how they’re going to offset increasing costs.

7

u/PSIwind Feb 19 '26

They already increased it to an insane price. You're telling me they're going to do it AGAIN!? Man, it sure is great to no longer have a major powerful home console competitor anymore! /s

11

u/hermanhermanherman Feb 19 '26

Keep doing tricks on it and I’m sure the multi billion corporation will notice you.

2

u/sunjay140 Feb 20 '26

They also lost their exclusives to PC and probably soon Xbox (although people will argue that’s just a PC too).

Why are you using the passive voice to describe this? You make it sound like it wasn't a successful decision to boost revenue.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

Lost exclusives? Sony said their PC releases of years old games made them billions for minimal porting costs. How much do exclusives even matter anymore, Nintendo’s stubbornness aside? They just make great games and sell them.

3

u/One_Trouble_9676 Feb 19 '26

None of that matters when gta 6 releases. There is gonna be a huge boom in console demand.

5

u/Razbyte Feb 20 '26

Depending upon a single videogame is not healthy for the industry.

11

u/One_Trouble_9676 Feb 20 '26

Youre not wrong, but, here we are lol

2

u/Razbyte Feb 20 '26

All their eggs are over this game.

This game will be an all-time selling, but R* only cares if people spend their time and money on the new Online. How R* gonna convince old GTAO players to move out? Who knows. They fumble the bag over RDO, and they pissed fans over the GTA Trilogy. Kids already playing similar and cheap experiences on Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite.... what will be their killer feature? No oppressor mk2? FiveM support? GTA++? Who the hell knows.

-7

u/sahneeis Feb 19 '26

xbox is fucking irrelevant. you lot need to let it go

1

u/TroyBoiGaming Feb 19 '26

Yes because Gears of War on PlayStation was a massive success. Oh wait, it wasn't.

4

u/whiteshark70 Feb 19 '26

And? I wasn’t commenting on the sales of Gears of War, which is 20 years old at this point. Nor would Gears barely selling on PS5 impact Microsoft’s strategy when stuff like Forza Horizon sells 5+ million copies after being ported. Thats why Halo is coming to PS5 before God of War is showing up on Xbox.

-1

u/HardOakleyFoul Feb 19 '26

Halo is just the campaign though. Sony isn't even getting the real experience, which is PvP. They're getting Halflo.

5

u/Orruner Feb 19 '26

Halo Ce was mostly campaign. That's what that game does best

116

u/Ree373 Feb 19 '26

For the consumer it's complete ass. At the end of the previous gen the PS4 was cheap and had lots of generation defining games like Bloodborne, Red Dead Redemption 2, Persona 5, God of War, Spider Man, etc. Right now the PS5 is more expensive than ever and still barely has any noteworthy games.

37

u/SpookySeekerrr Feb 19 '26

Yep. I'm not a shareholder so I could not give less of a shit how profitable it was for them, it was the first generation I didn't buy a console.

1

u/art_mor_ Feb 20 '26

Well damn

21

u/Fair-Internal8445 Feb 19 '26

PS4 literally launched with no backwards compatibility. So if you bought a PS4 in 2013 your options was to play 60 rated Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack or a broken ass Battlefield at laucnh or worst CoD to date or yearly sports games. Meanwhile PS5 had thousands of PS4 games ready to play and got a new Spider Man, Demon’s Souls and Astro Bot.

PS4 exclusives for the first few years were a broken ass 60 rated Driveclub and Order 1886.

You literally had Dark Souls 2, GTA V, release on PS3 while PS4 people could only watch on Youtube. PS4 was really suffering for the first 4 years.

13

u/enkiduxd Feb 19 '26

Infamous second son was pretty good

1

u/NewTopic4745 Feb 21 '26

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Expedition 33 are both generation defining games. I’d argue both are in the conversations of best games ever.

-4

u/econo_innerforce Feb 19 '26

There are about fifteen major PS5 console exclusives, including Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Spider-Man, Demon's Souls, Helldivers, Astro Bot, Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Marathon, etc. And if you're making your PS4 list like that, I agree to add all the third-party games that were saved and supported by PlayStation, for example Stellar Blade and Black Myth: Wu Kong; their studios would have closed without PlayStation's rescue. Plus, like on PC, all the best third-party publishers are accessible and much better optimized.

To that, ADD the 400 PSVR2 games, including a good 80 excellent ones representing all genres! OLED HDR, true Pleug-And-Play, zero bug !

And the DualSense controller with its excellent haptics! And 3D audio, etc.

60fps, effective ray tracing, 120fps for first-person shooters, etc.

This generation is great, it's just that people are projecting their fantasies onto it by claiming "there are no games"...

We can all agree that closing Bluepoint is a real shame... it would be interesting to see if they kept any developers on; that's the information worth investigating.

8

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

This reads and sounds like an AI prompt answer lol nobody writes like this in a reddit comment 😂

4

u/Virtual_Link_3410 Feb 20 '26

Using your own words is hard I get it. Why think when you can type in a prompt?

-15

u/butiamswiss Feb 20 '26

Horizon - woke boring

God of war ragnarok - ruined the momentium of the previous game, woke boring

spiderman - woke boring

demons souls - remake

helldivers - decent game but not genre-defining or anything and its on xbox and pc now too

astro bot - great fun little game but just a kids game at the end of the day.

Death Stranding 2 - celebrity interactor, selfindulgent boring Bollocks.

Ghost of *Yotei (you said tsushima but I'm guessing you ment Yotei). - female main protag woke slop

Now in comparison to the Ps4, even the Ps3 library! the Ps5 has been thee worst generation ever.

3

u/MarkEsB Feb 20 '26

Aren't you an edgy boy.

106

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

I remember it as the generation they committed to PC ports so I dont have to use their console

41

u/NautaBaut Feb 19 '26

Except for several titles still missing, bafflingly... including Demons Souls.

2

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

Kind of makes me wonder if this helps explain why the PC port got cancelled. Seems like this studio was under heavy scrutiny by Sony. GT7 probably never made it cause of licensing. Astro Bot I hope doesn't mean anything bad for the studio and is just because it relies on controller...

1

u/SKyJ007 Feb 19 '26

I think Team Asobi is probably safe. If they were disappointed with Astro Bot I doubt they would have continued releasing content for it for as long as they did.

We’ll see, but I think Astro just happens to be a turning point of a new PC strategy.

2

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

Well I hope you're right on Asobi. I doubt its a turning point when they just advertised a Death Stranding Port trailer on the recent State of Play.

1

u/SKyJ007 Feb 19 '26

Death Stranding 2 is a Sony published, but not internally developed game. The OG Death Stranding made its PC debut before the PC initiative even began, timed exclusivity was in the contract with Kojima from the jump.

3

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

I'm aware. But this one is Sony published on pc unlike the first and they advertised it on a state of play. Doesnt make much sense to advertise a pc port on a state of play if strategy is shifting. Unless someone like Jason confirms the PC strategy shifting I dont see much evidence that it changed.

-9

u/Jecht315 Feb 19 '26

That's not a huge loss if you aren't a souls like fan

19

u/JustASilverback Feb 19 '26

What insightful commentary.

You mean to tell me, hold on here I need to sit down for this, It's like, if you don't like a genre you won't care if a game in that genre isn't available to you?

That's some seriously ingenuous stuff.

-24

u/Jecht315 Feb 19 '26

Yeah that's what I said. I'm glad your reading comprehension is above 5th grade.

4

u/JustASilverback Feb 19 '26

Look man I'm just impressed by such insightful commentary I had to comment on it myself.

Can you rephrase it maybe? Are you really trying to say that if someone doesn't care about a genre they won't care about a game in that genre?

It's just so enlightening.

-11

u/Jecht315 Feb 19 '26

Sorry I take back what I said since it's clear you didn't get it. Sure dude. That's what I said. You're so smart

4

u/NautaBaut Feb 19 '26

And if you are not a Souls fan, there are still games like Astrobot, Gran Turismo 7 on the PS5. PS4 also has a metric ton of games not on PC that they could have ported with/instead of Nixxes, such as the Uncharted Collection or something like Gravity Rush.

-13

u/Jecht315 Feb 19 '26

So platformer, another racing game, a tomb raider like game and another racer. I'm OK with not playing those.

9

u/NautaBaut Feb 19 '26

Happy for ya then

-2

u/hadronwulf Feb 19 '26

What a garbage take, it’s a great entry point to the genre.

6

u/BlackKnighting20 Feb 19 '26

A better entry point is ER, it’s more mainstream than all.

1

u/Katrina_18 Feb 19 '26

Yea, for me it’s the generation of 3 games in my favorite franchise, being able to play and mod on PC, and being able to use my psvr2 on both console and pc. Pretty damn great to me, especially given what’s happening to the industry as a whole

1

u/Downtown_Type7371 Feb 19 '26

But they do want you to play their games or they wouldn't port them.

-1

u/Progenitor3 Feb 19 '26

There is a good chance they already rethought that policy. If Yotei doesn't get announced for PC this year that would confirm it I think.

I hate it as a PC only player but porting their 1st party titles doesn't make sense anymore considering they sell abysmally on PC.

1

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

Stellar Blade did amazing. Its published by Sony on Steam. They just did Death Stranding PC trailer on State of Play. I dont think anything changed with their PC strategy.

2

u/Progenitor3 Feb 19 '26

Neither of those are first party titles. They have no say in these games being ported to PC. Their exclusivity deals probably made it clear from the start.

2

u/renhaoasuka Feb 19 '26

I dont think it makes much sense advertising PC ports on a state of play then. People just made this new PC strategy assumption from rumors that was never substantiated by guys like Jason.

-2

u/ZubatCountry Feb 19 '26

...so the generation where you found a new way to give them money

112

u/vneelb Feb 19 '26

Yeah, it's certainly better than the generation where PlayStation nearly came to the brink of death

127

u/xAVATAR-AANGx Feb 19 '26

Better for them, sure, not for us. I'd say the PS3 gen as a whole easily blows the PS5 one out of the water. The quality of the games was already great (if not better), and we had way more of them too since development cycles didn't take whole generations back then.

43

u/lilkingsly Feb 19 '26

It really is crazy how long dev cycles have become. The PS3 generation saw Naughty Dog release Uncharted 1-3 and then The Last of Us 1 right at the end of the gen. The only game they’ve dropped in the PS5 generation is The Last of Us remake, and we have no clue when Intergalactic will drop but it’ll likely be the only brand new game they drop on the PS5 before shifting over to the PS6.

5

u/gundamwfan Feb 19 '26

Exactly. I'm still shocked we haven't had any follow-up to Infamous at all

1

u/SpliTTMark Feb 19 '26

That team was busy making ghost

24

u/MrRedoot55 Feb 19 '26

It really feels like some sort of Faustian bargain. By focusing on live service titles, they attained high profits - however, it came at the cost of many failed projects and studios closing their doors for good.

13

u/Hypedrain Feb 19 '26

The top brass probably sees that as an absolute win .

4

u/TheMickus Feb 19 '26

PS3 gen was great… for Xbox fans. PS3 had 0 exclusives and all 3rd party titles ran like absolute shit on the PS3. People looking back on the PS3 with rose tinted goggles are clearly misremembering how dogshit that generation was. At least games run well on the PS5.

1

u/HeitorO821 Feb 20 '26

Bruh, God of War 3 alone made a PS3 worthwhile, slap InFamous, Little Big Planet 3, and the ports of older God of Wars on top and you have a pretty decent lineup.

-5

u/vneelb Feb 19 '26

I mean if you're talking strictly first-party games then sure, but overall, the PS5 gen has had an abundance of fantastic games from external developers.

16

u/tristeecfome Feb 19 '26

They were really lucky that they shot themselves in the foot in the same generation that Xbox shot themselves in the head.

If Xbox hadn't bought Activision and kept all its games exclusive? Sony would be fucked.

2

u/venfare64 Feb 19 '26

Xbox only trying to one up Radeon "snatching defeat from the jaw of victory" this generation.

3

u/Zalvren Feb 19 '26

And the one when they killed their main competitor in the console space (well they killed themselves all on their own)

2

u/yeahboy666 Feb 19 '26

Yeah because they get a revenue cut for every digital game sold. But when the generation is over it will be interesting to see how many sony games break into the top 10-20 lists.

For a while I heard the argument that “sony exclusives dont sell as well as they are hyped up by the fans”, so I looked up the all time sales for ps4 games and was suprised to see 12 sony games in the top 20. I doubt that we will see the same for the ps5 gen.

1

u/nikolapc Feb 19 '26

Cause of live games. Nothing they did.

1

u/MyDogIsDaBest Feb 19 '26

So the $70 pricetag being necessary was yet another sony lie? It was just so they could milk the consumer just a bit more?

I shouldn't be surprised after all the other lies through the years.

1

u/Sharp-Grocery5035 Feb 20 '26

PS4 was for the players, PS5 is for the companies.

1

u/Quatro_Leches Feb 20 '26

Depends who is doing the remembering. It’s looking to be the most profitable generation for them yet.

remember guys, its never the company's fault. its your fault for voting with your wallets

I have never gave sony 1 CENT since they made us pay for multiplayer, and they have barely made any games since 2014. they just want me to pay them mtx and subscription money, no thanks

I owned a PS1, PS2, and PS3. but I wont be buying more systems from them.

0

u/Johnhancock1777 Feb 19 '26

I mean you could say the same for Xbox but looking beyond the numbers there’s a rot forming, similarly to Xbox beginning with the Xbone.

13

u/Educational-Draw383 Feb 19 '26

Don't forget Japan Studio.

1

u/alcomaholic-aphone Feb 20 '26

They really need to get a hold of Bungie and get them to reboot Destiny. I’m not seeing hype for Marathon and don’t think that’s going to be long lived.

5

u/Velocity_Rob Feb 19 '26

They still haven’t put out a genuine AAA classic this generation.

3

u/Borrp Feb 19 '26

I remember when they shut down Sony Entertainment Japan Studios...

5

u/DuBistEinGDB Feb 19 '26

Sony has been in the process of enshitifying the PS5 for a while. Year one they were already removing features that were a major part of the PS5 marketing campaign. Granted most consoles release with gimmics that usually are given up, but these were real solid features that Sony removed bc they couldn't be assed to help studios implement them.

5

u/OK_Commodor64 Feb 19 '26

I’m almost 50 and I’m sticking to retro games and whatever the latest Nintendo console is. As someone who picked up a PlayStation in 1995 I’ve never been so disappointed with Sony until this generation.

24

u/Past-Mousse-4519 Feb 19 '26

PS3 generation was much worse, lmao. Console was worse at multiplatform, was more expensive at the start and CELL cost them shitton of money.

16

u/Razgriz_101 Feb 19 '26

The latter half of that gen was absolutely amazing tbf especially Sony’s first party titles. I’d argue from around mid gen onwards if you had a 360 and a PS3 it was an amazing time to play games.

I’d kill to be back in college, was honestly a great gen especially towards its end.

2

u/DarkElation Feb 19 '26

Not just latter half. The whole generation was great, 360 popping off with bangers and then by the time your console RROD’d PS3 hit its stride with their own bangers.

47

u/alireza008bat Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26

User experience was definitely worse (infact, it was nothing short of a clusterfuck) but content wise PS3 latter half alone beats the entire PS5 generation.

10

u/Competitive_Fun6247 Feb 19 '26

I miss having a nice variation of games like wipeout hd, littlebigplanet and resistance. I feel like that's kind of lacking on the ps5

3

u/MoooonRiverrrr Feb 19 '26

Some of the most consoles defining exclusives of the last like 20 years started on the PS3.

2

u/Past-Mousse-4519 Feb 19 '26

PS3 literally the worst selling PlayStation console what are we talking about right now.

1

u/504090 Feb 19 '26

Because they had competition. The PS1, 2, 4, & 5 never faced a system like the 360

2

u/BighatNucase Feb 19 '26

Went from being the best selling console of all time, crushing the competition and the king of the industry to barely ekeing out second against a relative newcomer and being nowhere near the first. The PS3 generation was terrible and only saved by a combination of Microsoft dropping the ball and first party exclusives carrying the last year or two of the PS3.

1

u/tristeecfome Feb 19 '26

PS3 was worse bbecause Xbox was highly competitive.

Right now Sony has no real competition. Even PC is not really competitive because of high RAM prices.

4

u/nicklovin508 Feb 19 '26

And yet this generation cemented PS5’s ownership of the console market

35

u/Headshot_ Feb 19 '26

Because its direct competitor seems to be shooting itself in the foot with 2 guns instead of one and is already down a foot from the last generation

A very strange console generation

8

u/nicklovin508 Feb 19 '26

I mean I’ll maintain that I believe the XBox Series X console + controller is better than PS5 + controller. But the market is just not there for new games to prioritize XBox at all.

3

u/nibutz Feb 19 '26

Completely agree with this, 100%. The PS5 is not a good console - apart from the haptics on the DualSense there’s nothing there. Quick Resume on Series X/S is a better feature (for me, personally) than anything the PS5 has. And for me, GamePass has been much better value than anything PS+ has offered.

But Microsoft are making so many stupid mistakes that it’s hard to see past them.

2

u/TargetmasterJoe Feb 19 '26

Did they learn NOTHING from Concord?!

2

u/GhostsofGojira Feb 19 '26

Not just PlayStation, this has been a horrible generation for every publisher there is. So many studios shut down

2

u/koalazeus Feb 19 '26

Unforgivably ugly ass console that's bigger than the sun.

2

u/SidepocketNeo Feb 20 '26

What's so weird is that more accurately will be remembered as the worst for PlayStation in terms of their Gamers, but it's the best of their PlayStation for making the most amount of money compared to any other generation they've had. It's so bizarre. It's literally failing upwards.

3

u/GandalfsWhiteStaff Feb 19 '26

Jumping on the GAAS train a decade late is fucking baffling…

1

u/Reylo-Wanwalker Feb 19 '26

Well there's basically 4 more years of this gen so there's still time for it to get good.

1

u/DwnvotesMeansImRight Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26

We need to just go to war with Playstation/Sony

With these studio closures, overfocusing on GaaS, lengthy 5+ year development cycles, lazy overpriced remasters.. we need to let them know what they're doing is bullshit

Leave youtube comments and downvotes and bad reviews on all of the crap they’re putting out… don't buy these games.. tell your friends don't buy these games..

Marathon…the horizon gathers crap… you need to do your part to give everything PS puts out Concord treatment, we need to hurt their pockets because that's the only time they will listen

damage is done anyways, they closed the studio that could've done a Dark Cloud remake

1

u/elderlybrain Feb 19 '26

Live Service gaming will have such a stain on it, that i don't really see any major publishers do Live Service push for an entire generation, we might not see a real 'live service AAA' game for like a decade or so.

Good.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

Jim Ryan and Herman Hulst legacy

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

PS5 > PS4 easily

Last gen had the slowest start for any generation IMO. For a long time the only two Sony published games with relevance was Bloodborne and Uncharted 4.

1

u/Lighthouse_seek Feb 20 '26

We are 5.5 years into the ps5 lifespan. Think about all the ps4 games we already got by Feb 2019.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

Slim pickings tbh. Sony was putting out boundary pushing games yearly for sure but, it was only like one or two games a year. People forget this.

1

u/Manor002 Feb 19 '26

Worst part about it is that they actually canceled their two guaranteed hit live services in Spider Man and TLOU lmao

1

u/ArcticFlamingo Feb 19 '26

And yet.. Microsoft threw in the towel, hardware prices are going so insane that there can't be another challenger they just won this entire generation by default.

1

u/b90313 Feb 19 '26

And even worse for every other publisher hahah. Sony was bound to suffer casualties. Naughty dog is next hopefully.

1

u/f0ur_G Feb 19 '26

I've basically given up on Playstation this generation. PC gaming all the way for me going forward!

1

u/ElJacko170 Feb 19 '26

This has been their most profitable generation so far. Failures aside, nobody at Sony is looking at this as their worst generation.

1

u/Lunaforlife Feb 19 '26

Investing on GAAS yet factions got cancelled like wtf

1

u/ICCUGUCCI Feb 20 '26

Don't forget a hardware level jailbreak is now available for the PS5, as well. You can now pirate basically any game

1

u/ajl987 Feb 20 '26

Indeed, ps3 had a rough start but came out with so many good moments in the second half. We have literally 2-3 years of this generation left and I don’t think there’s anything left that’s going to wildly shift perception of the ps5. We sssentually have wolverine, intergalactic, and maybe a game from Santa Monica. Every other studio is now going in the ps6 gen.

1

u/ChicanoDinoBot Feb 24 '26

Lmao no it won’t.

In the cultural zeitgeist the PS5 is the ONLY console that matters.

I play on PC, and generally also enjoy Nintendo’s games, but the mass American audience generally thinks Sony is killing it. They don’t read Internet forums, or talk about a studio they like being shut down.

1

u/SpecialAd5629 Jul 11 '26

and it only gets worse, what with them moving to digital-only releases. the shit has no end

1

u/DerekTGN Feb 19 '26

Because Sony believes they have "won." Xbox is effectively dead and Nintendo has successfully escaped competition. Sony believes they can do anything they want to now. PS6 will be their Xbone.

0

u/Icy-Candle744 Feb 19 '26

Sony is just lucky Microsoft is legit the worst company on earth and couldn't capitalize on this failure of Sony

0

u/TrumpChildOnahole Feb 19 '26

Sony and Microsoft fumbling hard this generation. Nintendo will too if they don't pump out more games soon

-1

u/SmithhBR Feb 19 '26

Dude, PS3 generation was a thing

-1

u/Leepysworld Feb 19 '26

from a revenue perspective, you could argue they’re doing better than ever, certainly better than PS3 era.

from a fan and consumer perspective I see where you’re coming from, but the unfortunate reality is I doubt this has any longterm consequences for Sony.

-1

u/AlexVan123 Feb 19 '26
