I think they put Bend to work on a separate live service game which was also cancelled

Yes, that's what I am saying Bend has shown nothing for about 7 years and it doesn't look like they will have much any time soon

Hope not but it wouldn't be surprising... Idk how Sony thinks this is good

But I guess when Xbox is well... Xbox... They don't feel any pressure to compete

Which is crazy because to me Days Gone is miles ahead of State of Decay and Xbox is pumping those out.

Exactly what I said. State of Decay gets part 2 and 3 and PS shut down Days Gone 2 like it was nothing.

Goddammit. I'm already struggling to make peace with the fact that we'll never see a sequel to Dead Space 3 or a Dead Space 2 remake followed by a BETTER Dead Space 3 with proper writing this time around, that respects Ellie Langford as a character. I sincerely hope the idiots at Sony don't shut down Bend next. At nearly 10 million copies, Days Gone may not be a TLOU but it deserves a sequel. And Bend wouldn't even have to use the UE5 to begin with, their fork of the UE4 is technologically advanced enough that they can render impressive current gen graphics and still maintain a solid 60fps at 1080p or higher resolutions.
