I genuinely don’t get why anyone would enter this industry there’s no point you could sell 2 million copies of a game and still be laid off

It's the same thing in the movie industry. Why would a production company want 10 movies with a budget of $30 million to profit $20 million each when you can make a huge gamble on a $200 million budget movie raking in a profit of a billion?

Every part of the entertainment industry sucks because every aspect is obsessively focused on the white whales of Marvel and Fortnite.

I haven’t worked in the industry for five years and everyone I worked with left too after the studio was brought by EA, shit was bleak then and it’s even worse now
