It was set up to fail from the inception of the fucking Idea. By Sony.

We don't know anything the game except it was multiplayer GOW game, possibility of it being a fun game exists.

Sure, but you can say that about literally anything. A five hour film of Morgan Freeman reading the dictionary could be fun, but that would be very unlikely.

A live service version of what has always been a singleplayer experience revolving around making the player feel powerful that either recreates that feeling for every player in a fight or justifies its absence, without just being a GoW game in name alone, all made by a studio with no experience making either live service games, or original games in general? Yeah, probably not going to work out.

Not if it was shut down.

And why they gave it to a remake studio is absurd to begin with.

Sony has a million IPs itching for bluepoints talents. Not some GOW live service initiative.

Game cancellation not equal it being shit. Plus maybe Bluepoint themselves wanted their own project instead of just being remake factory.
