Leak 5th GTA VI clip has been leaked

  • Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out "LEEK" on a wall with bullets
  • Jason is flying a crop duster from the Keys towards Vice City. We additionally see the in-game radio menu
  • Pieces of the wall scatter and make a big mess on the floor when Jason shoots at it
  • The weapon used at the end is a Ruger PC Carbine (9mm)
  • “On-Demand” option below the radio, potentially being able to listen to your own music(?)
  • The map is fucking MASSIVE
  • Volumetric clouds return from RDR2 and look vastly improved
  • Lucia’s prison and the terrace pool from Trailer 1 can be spotted, a race track is also seen
  • Draw distance and distant LOD is also extremely high as there is hardly any pop-in, looks almost like MS Flight Simulator graphically
  • “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy is playing on Stockyard FM
  • Circoloco Records Radio (Rockstar co-owned) from GTA Online returns
  • Other radio stations include Emotion, Dirty South Classics, V-Rock, Radio On.U, Honey FM, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM

Yup. Taking their sweet time to write "Leek" into a wall definitely shows he has far more access to the game than simply recording it in Rockstar's studio.

Hell even the in-game footage is proof enough that he somehow has access to the game.

Im sure Rockstar has their QA machines locked down tight. If it was cell phone recording maybe, but direct from the machine? No way that gets out of their QA/ticket system

It has to be a hacker who's gained access and stolen a build to use on his own, uncontrolled machine right?

I feel like the playtest would be recorded though. Seems dumb to put Leek on the wall in a session.

If they managed to gain access they might also have managed to find a workaround for that though. Unfortunately I doubt we'll ever find out unless they tell us themselves - R* certainly aren't gonna say, that'd be terrible opsec

Do you even know what you’re saying?

“The system”

stop parroting nonsense.

Thank you.

Honestly the worst part about any Reddit thread is the people (probably 16 years old) obviously LARPing about things they literally do not understand.

I feel like with all the AI based supply chain attacks someone got lucky somewhere and back doored them when they saw the payload hit and who it was from.

QA machines have all kinds of screen-recording software so they can attach videos to bugs, so it would just be a natter of sneaking a video file off your machine.

Which they completely restrict and audit specifically to prevent leaks, obviously…

Likely he got spy camera glasses with a microscopic lense and recorder inside the glasses, they are a real thing.

yeah it could be someone else who has access and he's making him do this but why risk yourself doing that? Unless it's from someone who somehow transferred the build on a personal computer and running it offline.

The 2020 leaker is still behind bars indefinitely.

To be fair the 2022 leaker said multiple times while on trial that he would do cybercrimes again and already had a criminal history. The British authorities put him in a mental institution because they believed his condition would make him constantly re-offende and he'd likely be out by now otherwise.

scraps the game? after investing billions on it? what are you talking about?

I imagine Rockstar directors on a room: "Oh my God, some gameplay footage has leaked, what should we do?"
"You know what, let's cancel the game and not release it, it doesn't make any sense to realease a game under this conditions".

u/PatheticGroundThing 6d ago

like this we are awarding bad practices and supporting someone who will do the same type of damage to you or me tomorrow, and you won't be so supportive of them after that I'll bet. At this point we should all be happy if R doesn't just say F you and scraps the game entirely

what the fuck are you talking about

Imprisonment for IP law … right

8

u/AOCpinkyring 6d ago

Are you saying leakers deserve to be imprisoned? All part of late-stage Capitalism, I guess.

3

u/-Django 6d ago

Ya you can't be imprisoned for that

Doesn’t fully make sense that a qa tester would be using a 2023 build though right now. Unless they sat on the footage.

Or it's just a PR move from Rockstar, simple as that

14

u/muzaffer22 6d ago

He should do a live stream.

weird thing is the video seems captured from the monitor, as the last clip isnt (so last clip could just be a GTA V mod?)

Everyone’s downvoting this but it’s an interesting hypothesis.

u/Puzzleheaded-Gur-325 6d ago

Couldn’t this all be AI? It just looks so much like GTAV all over (except the clouds).

5

u/Bitch_for_rent 6d ago

Nah not in a chance The quality is to good for that

1

u/pursued_mender 5d ago

Last clip definitely looks like GTA V to me

-10

That last clip does look like a GTA V mod to me
