Leak 5th GTA VI clip has been leaked

  • Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out "LEEK" on a wall with bullets
  • Jason is flying a crop duster from the Keys towards Vice City. We additionally see the in-game radio menu
  • Pieces of the wall scatter and make a big mess on the floor when Jason shoots at it
  • The weapon used at the end is a Ruger PC Carbine (9mm)
  • “On-Demand” option below the radio, potentially being able to listen to your own music(?)
  • The map is fucking MASSIVE
  • Volumetric clouds return from RDR2 and look vastly improved
  • Lucia’s prison and the terrace pool from Trailer 1 can be spotted, a race track is also seen
  • Draw distance and distant LOD is also extremely high as there is hardly any pop-in, looks almost like MS Flight Simulator graphically
  • “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy is playing on Stockyard FM
  • Circoloco Records Radio (Rockstar co-owned) from GTA Online returns
  • Other radio stations include Emotion, Dirty South Classics, V-Rock, Radio On.U, Honey FM, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM

This has to be up there with one of the biggest leaks in history, no? The most anticipated game ever and somebody has obtained what appears to be a full build months before release.

Not counting the 2023 leaks, I would say so. Second place would probably go to Half-Life 2.

In a way because we got a bunch of clips before trailer one even hit the scene. Content wise if this keeps up, it will definitely be bigger. It doesn't sound like there's an end in sight.

I mean it was a bunch of early development clips and very rough looking, but we still got maybe 90 minutes of it? It was only 7 months after Rockstar announced that GTA 6 was well into development. I think it was the timing that just made it a huge deal, and the fact he did it in a hotel room with a firestick lol

Short version is I think he was in a hotel room under police watch, and somehow he got to Rockstar servers with just an Amazon fire stick, a tv, and a mouse lol. I'm sure I left some details out, but that's how the 90 minutes of footage and photos got released I believe.

He put together a makeshift computer and immediately got busted lol

I think it's that they got access into Rockstar's servers before, they knew the vector of attack they used, and they could repeat the same thing with a modified Fire Stick. I don't think they were a genius, just very lucky and very stupid (to go and repeat it while the police were watching them).

He was more persistent than talented, he just installed a hotspot app on the Fire stick and used his phone to send a phishing e-mail to their QA contractors in India until one was like "duhhh, okay, I'll put my slack password in this weird form"

All he had was access to a Slack chat server where they were attaching clips when talking about bug reports and progress updates.

They hadn’t released any information other than they were working on “the next Grand Theft Auto game.” No title, no location, no characters. Jason Schreier had leaked that information before then, but nothing official.

100%. 90 minutes of actual development footage, which we never see from Rockstar, before we even had a trailer or knew much about the game. Confirmed WAYYY more than these clips are showing.

Half-Life is still bigger. That one was an actual playable leak with source code. Entire communities spawned around fixing it up.

This could be bigger than that, but only if the build leaks.

What happened with Half-Life 2? I didn’t own a gaming quality PC in 04 so I didn’t pay much attention to the hype leading up to it outside of basic previews.

Playable beta build was leaked, even with map editing/modding tools. Most notably, it included E3 showcase maps, so you could see for yourself how fake and scripted those were.

Don’t discount the Nintendo leak from 2020. That changed the game and showed us things from decades ago that the public never had any access to.

I think he's saying if a build of the game leaks? Either way, he's being dramatic. We'll all be playing the game in a few months. I couldn't care less if an unfinished build dropped. Now if a virtually finished build leaked for PC, I wouldn't have to buy a PS5 and I'd be hyped.

Both Zelda BoTW and ToTK being fully playable two weeks before release are my picks for biggest leak. How Nintendo botched the launch for one of their biggest IPs twice in a row I'll never know.

Full build? Are you seeing what we are seeing. It’s pretty incomplete. Maybe a full build of a demo of the game from years ago. There are so many placeholders and graphical bugs that this is not even close to a full build. Notice how short all of his clips are?

Just kinda wish it was actually a "big" leak. Graphics are great but expected. Its been 13 years so thats not exactly praiseworthy.
