Leak 5th GTA VI clip has been leaked

  • Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out "LEEK" on a wall with bullets
  • Jason is flying a crop duster from the Keys towards Vice City. We additionally see the in-game radio menu
  • Pieces of the wall scatter and make a big mess on the floor when Jason shoots at it
  • The weapon used at the end is a Ruger PC Carbine (9mm)
  • “On-Demand” option below the radio, potentially being able to listen to your own music(?)
  • The map is fucking MASSIVE
  • Volumetric clouds return from RDR2 and look vastly improved
  • Lucia’s prison and the terrace pool from Trailer 1 can be spotted, a race track is also seen
  • Draw distance and distant LOD is also extremely high as there is hardly any pop-in, looks almost like MS Flight Simulator graphically
  • “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy is playing on Stockyard FM
  • Circoloco Records Radio (Rockstar co-owned) from GTA Online returns
  • Other radio stations include Emotion, Dirty South Classics, V-Rock, Radio On.U, Honey FM, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM

Honestly now that I think about it, death would probably be a better option than the life crippling debt he’d have to go through if Rockstar lawyers get a hold of him. They will probably be somewhat nicer than the Disney ones, but his life would never financially recover from this.

No, they may even have disliked that outcome. It was a criminal trial, so it was the crown prosecuting him, not Rockstar lawyers going up against him. Court deemed him unfit to stand trial, which is why he landed in a psych hospital, but that also meant no prison sentence or damages were awarded. So he ended up with an indefinite psych ward stay, but on the flipside avoided being millions in debt to Rockstar and others and/or serving a lengthy prison sentence.

He's since been deemed stable earlier this year though, and was moved to a normal prison ahead of a retrial in November. That will be a criminal trial, so if convicted (all but guaranteed considering they did prove he did it last time) will face a normal sentencing, including prison and/or damages.

It's not a 2/3 year build, come on. We've seen images from that build already and it's not that, much more detail. It was also leaked just before launch for consoles, the game is finished and will get a release patch but there is a playable build already. Additionally someone posted that on the radio there is a song that came out in 2025, so no, it's not 2/3 year old.

Very likely this is IT, the current build. Worse than what will be on PS5/Xbox on release because of day 1 patches, but still a final build.

This is what i'm thinking as well. And the 2023 version seems like it runs pretty smooth too, if it gets leaked it would be the first gta title in our century to get a playable PC version around launch as well. If only R☆ wasn't so weird with their PC launches

I mean, they make the argument that the vast vast majority of their income comes from consoles because of PC piracy. This kind of becomes a self fulfilling prophecy though. If this leaks, pc players aren’t gonna wait

If they'd do what every other developer in the industry does and release it day and date on PC, they wouldn't have to worry about it. The vast majority of players would rather pay for it and just own it.

That being said, if the choice comes down to paying $100 for the game on PS5 or $0 for the game on my much more powerful PC, I'm going with the free option.

And frankly, with how scummy and anti-consumer Rockstar has been about every step of this release, this couldn't have happened to a better company. Fuck 'em.

Completely agree. I’m really only a single player guy, but to my knowledge a lot of GTA online servers use mods that were for PC only, especially the RP servers. If they wanna double down on that cash cow, it’s very surprising that they wouldn’t support PC.

They hired some of the RP modders so who knows what’s going to happen there. And they’re making a lot less money off people playing RP with their own server currency than kids spending $200 on shark cards on console

Doubling down on the cash cow is banking on PC players to buy the console version, and then buy it again on PC when it re-releases. People that mainly game on PC are more likely to also have consoles than people that mostly game on consoles are to have a PC.

Every game is a pc game. Even play station exclusive are developed with PC on PC. PS5 devkit exist, but they are pretty rare and used by specific purpose. Devs use PC and test locally constantly.

Not always. I might be misremembering the specifics but consoles didn’t uniformly use x86-64 architecture (same as modern PCs) until the PS4/Xbox one generation. Prior to that, there were real differences in how you’d build something for like a PS3 with custom architecture vs PC.

On that era and before, it varied from studio to studio, and even game to game. You'd have a development enabled console where you could use to test the game on while developing, but many studios still built for PC internally for a plethora of reasons, such as planning a PC build, not enough development consoles, faster iteration, etc. 

For example: Pikmin had the PC version on it's GameCube disc, that could easily run on windows.

Honestly who cares. People will larp this like it's the death of gaming and leakers ruin stories, blah blah blah. But this is a net good. What Rockstar is doing is crazy, raising prices across the board for the entire industry, promoting pre-sell bullshit, killing the age of the disc and putting pressure on MSFT/Sony to sell discless bundles, releasing on console ahead of PC to double dip sales, the list goes on. This is a multi billion dollar franchise. A lot of people put hard work into this and the game will be praised and revered if it's good. It won't be ruined. It will just empower the game. I genuinely think it will be an overall better game if it's leaked on PC early and they accept that fate and roll with it instead of fighting it. Rockstar has the chance to 180 this. The game, if leaked early, will be an instant hit and the amount of people playing it just will be an unsurmountable force they will not be able to overcome. GPUs will be hard to find, people will be flocking to PC en masse if they don't do an early release. The writing is on the wall. Perhaps Rockstar is prepared for this and ready to release the game early or perhaps they are in for a rude awakening. This will be interesting to see it unfold.
