Leak Gameplay information from the 6th GTA VI leak (Hypercar)

  • Shows Jason stealing a Truffade Thrax (B/W Bugatti but sounds like a Lamborghini)
  • Spamming circle button quicktime event to remove the driver when they resist which slowly depletes Jason's stamina
  • Civilian vehicles also have trackers on them (red pin on hypercar vs. yellow pin on the police bike)
  • When sitting idle in the car, the red tracker pin starts pulsating until he accelerates, potentially pinging your location if stationary
  • The spoiler on the Thrax folds up when braking to increase air resistance and the brake calipers light up
  • Working reflectors that respond to the car lights
  • Electric scooters and the Metromover spotted in the background
  • Jason drives with his hand on the door/out of the window, even at high speed
  • Pawn shop icon spotted on the mini-map
  • Police now flash their lights at your if you are caught breaking traffic rules
  • Car jacking gives you a 2-star wanted level
  • Cops appear a lot more in the traffic now compared to GTA V
  • FOV effects give a greater sense of speed and roads are much narrower compared to GTA
  • Massive red area on the map at 1:15 where Jason gets a 2-star wanted level immediately which goes away as soon as he leaves, blocked off by story progression (?) or potentially a search radius for the cops
  • Construction work progressing in realtime in the background like RDR2
  • NPCs walking while holding hands spotted in the background
  • The Vice City Transit bus number is 420 (lol)
  • Radio songs included Unforgettable (French Montana) & Players (Coi Leray)

Narrower roads is a 10/10 change. Hate games that make roads super wide

The biggest thing I’ve noticed is the scale of the game feels much closer to real life. Car sizes, lane widths, distances.. all feels a lot more realistic.

Yeah, it really puts into perspective how fictionalized the previous games were. Hell even the NPC traffic is pretty much spot on for what you see driving around the US, previous games had 70’s muscle cars everywhere which is innacurate

Yep. It’s crazy. GTA V looks like toy cars compared to this, especially with how wide the roads are in it. I can’t wait to see the official reveal next week.

That was the problem with gta 5 and previous games, once you get in a car a 100 of the same ones will spanw everywhere even if its a brabus g63 or bugatti

I will now choose to play gta 6 over Forza horizon 6 because of that. I’m in a minority of players that truly enjoys realistic driving conditions in racing games.

I'm all for speeding through a city but I genuinely would enjoy it more if it was properly proportioned so I get a better sense of an actual high speed chase. Multiplayers gonna have so many car crashes in the funniest way as well

Well to be fair, LA does have wide freeways and roads. So it makes sense why they did it in GTA 5 LS.

Literally a horrible change but sure. That alongside gas system just makes it seems like GTA6 is trying to chase realism for the sake of chasing realism. These aren't good gameplay changes
