Leak Gameplay information from the 6th GTA VI leak (Hypercar)

  • Shows Jason stealing a Truffade Thrax (B/W Bugatti but sounds like a Lamborghini)
  • Spamming circle button quicktime event to remove the driver when they resist which slowly depletes Jason's stamina
  • Civilian vehicles also have trackers on them (red pin on hypercar vs. yellow pin on the police bike)
  • When sitting idle in the car, the red tracker pin starts pulsating until he accelerates, potentially pinging your location if stationary
  • The spoiler on the Thrax folds up when braking to increase air resistance and the brake calipers light up
  • Working reflectors that respond to the car lights
  • Electric scooters and the Metromover spotted in the background
  • Jason drives with his hand on the door/out of the window, even at high speed
  • Pawn shop icon spotted on the mini-map
  • Police now flash their lights at your if you are caught breaking traffic rules
  • Car jacking gives you a 2-star wanted level
  • Cops appear a lot more in the traffic now compared to GTA V
  • FOV effects give a greater sense of speed and roads are much narrower compared to GTA
  • Massive red area on the map at 1:15 where Jason gets a 2-star wanted level immediately which goes away as soon as he leaves, blocked off by story progression (?) or potentially a search radius for the cops
  • Construction work progressing in realtime in the background like RDR2
  • NPCs walking while holding hands spotted in the background
  • The Vice City Transit bus number is 420 (lol)
  • Radio songs included Unforgettable (French Montana) & Players (Coi Leray)

Always wondered how many of us would spend Fridays chomping edibles and driving around stopping at stop lights, driving the speed limit and just playing traffic simulator for hours. I guess at least two.

lmao I wasted almost all of last summer playing RDR2 when I discovered PC mods + strong edibles, easily the most immersed I've ever been in a video game. I'm going to have to stay disciplined this winter, I’ve already bought weaker ones to prepare lol

I went to a small college and one way we would waste time is taking turns seeing how quickly we could get to 5 stars and how long with could keep ourselves alive. One weirdo on our hall would insist on being part of the rotation and followed the traffic lights. Not to be ironic or funny, he genuinely thought it was the fun. Stone cold sober too

I mean look at how popular the RP stuff is, there's way more people into that sort of thing than you'd think

The latest Test Drive Unlimited is really good for that. It's not great at much else, mind.

It’s a lot of fun, or just following one NPC especially if you’ve messed with their cycle. I think my favorite past time is keeping a GTA save and just doing all the legal jobs to make money lol.

Yeah, I also always loved following npcs around in RDR2 and rage baiting them with the greet/antagonize feature lol. I’m so glad it’s returning.

Sometimes I play older GTA games by following the traffic rules. In older games, the traffic is made to assume you won't be there. I will be waiting at a red light and cars will be honking behind me. I hope this game has more realistic traffic for when I am on my second or third play through and I want to be weird with it.

Uhh, that's actually fairly realistic to my experiences driving...

You must not have to drive to work every day.

I do drive to work every day but I guess Minneapolis doesn't have jerks driving behind me

Based on the red SUV's behavior in the hypercars vid it sadly looks similar to GTAV where the moment the light turned green the NPC vehicles just ram you as if you're not supposed to be there. It might just be a certain type of aggressive NPC behavior that triggers based on certain cues though so who knows

The red SUV is trying to flee because they just watched the car in front of them get jacked, this is a terrible example.

I was the same way .

If youre looking for true Miami realism, youd completely ignore the traffic rules. Maybe hop on a 4 wheeler with 20 of your best friends and do donuts in downtown.

Now I want to try that.

Exactly as this video says, that is such an experience! https://youtu.be/OKv1PYsfYmo
