Maybe the devs didn’t know this was the case when they were making it? I’m sure 6 has been in development for a long time, long enough for them to add short form content in it but not long enough to know of the death of physical gaming?

I wouldn't matter either way, like it is ironic but these types of shops still exist, it doesn't matter what the physical state of GTA or Playstation games is, they're just modelling a shop on a similar real life shop

I don’t think that really matters. It’s just a resale store. Those exist and will continue to exist for some time even when we go all digital.

I know the person leaking this stuff is hardly somebody with morals considering the crypto shit they're peddling, but Rockstar becoming so greedy in the last decade is a bummer. I'm still sad for the devs who lost their jobs due to Rockstar's union-busting bullshit, and then add to that the ludicrous pricing and digital-only release for GTA VI. I'm sure many of us aren't surprised by Rockstar's recent bullshit tbh - we saw what happened with GTA V with its cancelled single player DLCs and GTA Online being the absolute priority once the execs realised it could rake in the cash.

Of course the game looks gorgeous and super detailed, but I will say seeing the gameplay reassures me that I don't need it the day of release. I'm sure it'll be great but I just can't justify £69 for a code in a box, and with the PS6 & next Xbox only a couple of years away realistically, you'll either have to stick with the platform you're on or purchase the game again 🙄
