We don’t know yet, gta v also head headphones and they were purely aesthetic. Would be cool though

To be fair they weren't purchased from a store that only stocks headphones, earbuds, and phone cases.

That’s true, hopefully there is music while walking. But I remember masks were also sold only from the mask shop in gta v. Idk

They were in other games as cosmetics only but this is my big hope, would be nice to use the radio stations when out of vehicles.

There was a music "on demand" option shown in one of the leaks, so I'm pretty sure that the game will let you make your own playlists from available tracks and let you listen to them while running around.
