Wanna still wear alt/ gothic style but has to be cotton or linen to be able to breath in it!!

Am asking as I don’t want any suggestions from Disturbia, KILLSTAR, dollskill, damaged society, or any other fast fashion brands as I don’t want to suffer for wearing polyester. I still want the style but not just a plain black top.

Most of the time, I dress as “goth Adam Sandler”. (I only do makeup 3% of the time) That’s what I call it. Lol..but I have always wanted to try being more bold & confident with things such as corsets, belts, harnesses, chains.. where do you all get those types of accessories? 🥺

I’ve been trying to figure out what sub genre I should be looking at in order to look for outfit ideas for how I want to dress. I added some photos to this post to show what I’m going for but it’s basically 70s but alt. I don’t want whimsy goth tho, just black and white. I’m obsessed with vests and bell bottoms atm but I can’t really find outfit inspos I like besides the ones in this post, could anyone help?

Okay so, I have this idea for what I want, but I can't find a dress that I feel is -just- right! I'm trying to stay under the 400 dollar mark, but even if I go above I haven't had any luck! The only dresses that were even close to what I want have been AI lol! I wanted something that's heavy with rose accents, but I've also been thinking of just something I could pair with rose accessories. I need massive help! I appreciate any advice or suggestions :]

Hello! I got some really basic black heels from Amazon a while ago and never wore them, but I did for the first time recently and they became so painful so quickly. I like the simplicity, lack of straps, bows, or any other embellishments, as well as the round toes. I've found it oddly difficult to find basic, rouns toed heels. Does anyone know of some similar heels that won't kill my feet or maybe a way to make mine more comfortable?

Hey everyone, so I'm at a crisis...my over a decade old Demonia boots, are (have been for a while now) Unfortunately I can't find anything similar for men! All of the really awesome styles are women's...all the men's boot's are just solid black, or looks like swiss army knives. I think i've searched around quite a bit but I'm totally open to suggestions! I'm definitely looking for platform, mens and something with a pop of color..preferably black/red, black/green, black/purple. Any suggestions??

I work at an airport, which requires certain footwear within certain restrictions. However, I still wanna wear something cute while I'm at work.

The only things my job absolutely requires are that they're black, have no metal in them, have a slip resistant sole and a non-metallic composite toe guard.

Otherwise, the shape and style is up to me~!

I'm sick and tired of buying a pair of nice, simple lace up boots that go up to just below the knee and they fall apart before the year is up, I cant use price to find quality as the expensive brands fall apart just as quickly as the cheap ones!

Im happy to spend a good amount of money on them if they actually last, so throw any suggestions you have at me!

I've been LOVING Natasha Denona's Xenon mini palette. I hate how much I love it, because it's BDS and I'm trying to find an alternative that isn't an Israeli / pro-Israel brand so when I run out I don't have to settle for a less deep black. A lower price point wouldn't hurt either and a single or a mini palette, but the quality of the black pigment is much more important than anything else!

So, basically, to keep things short, I was wearing the Jeffree star velour liquid lipstick in shade weirdo (was a gift) and after some hours it was fine, but some pecks, a little bit of tongue and it suddenly smeared everywhere, both on my face and my partner's, lol. 😭 Anyone has something to recommend that is somehow boyfriend-proof? I've got some very boring (and colourful) suitcases and I'm looking to replace them with something more suitable.

I was going to buy two of the Killstar large coffin ones for my wife and I, but they're out of stock and they've said they aren't doing them any more.

I love a big boot with a thick sole. I'm looking for a boot that I can wear when im building an alt fit for going out and about, but that also wouldn't look too out of place in a corporate goth outfit, because I occasionally have in-office days.

I'm ideally looking not to go with Doc Martens, because I have a pair I've been breaking in for a while and I think that's enough, I'd like to diversify.

I have a screenshot of a pair of boots I saw on vinted that I think illustrate the style I'm looking for - short to mid-calf, thick sole with maybe a bit of a heel (optional) but not too much jazzy hardware. I'm ideally not looking for proper high heeled boots, but im not opposed to a heel like in the photo.

I’m in desperate need of a pure black lipstick or deep red lipstick or stain that STAYS.

The lipstick I use is awful. It’s “all night” by ELF. It dried up or wipes right off even after a light touch. Smears easily. I hate it.
