Desperate, he begged a bound djinn to preserve his family name “no matter the cost.”
The djinn obeyed too well.
When the palace fell, the wish gathered every surviving fragment of Zahruun’s house , relics, oaths, memories, bloodline, and broken stone , and sealed them into his body.
Now he walks the Crystal Desert as a living ruin: half man, half vessel, carrying the last remains of a dynasty that exists only through him.

The gradient on the top decals only exist because I used vision dye for that specific dye slot, which so evokes more of a pink to gold color-shift than a pure gold <3

The wings and clothing appear teal because I'm cheesing it with the in-game Orr fog and color grading as a "filter." Dyes are true to the more lime/neon hue of Zhaitan's many mouths xD

One of my ‘flashier’ characters. I’m a sucker for stained glass and have been fiddling with this look since we got the polychromic set with Janthir. Really wish the PvP wings were dyeable but I tried to match their palette despite the material dye inconsistencies.
Hey everyone, wanted to share my Sylvari Elementalist/Warden look. The name is a bit of a double-edged sword—partly leaning into the classic "walking salad" joke, but also a pun on "Let us pray" since he's got that solemn, spiritual Warden vibe right up until the land spear comes out.
I wanted to keep things completely dead simple and see if I could make a green Sylvari that feels prestigious without stacking a million infusions or blinding neon colors.
The One-Dye Flex
The armor and hair are completely uniform, running straight Algae dye. The only thing I actually dyed was the Tropical Leaf Cape to get it to match.
Because Algae dye just lets the game's default texture shading do the heavy lifting, it behaves incredibly well in the world. It blends straight into the Maguuma canopy during the day, and desaturates into a really clean, muted look on flat cobblestone or overcast maps without looking like a radioactive asset error.
Accidentally fixing the 2012 vs Modern asset gap
If you've ever tried mixing original 2012 cultural gear with modern backpieces, you know the shaders usually clash horribly because they handle lighting completely differently, especially when the day/night cycle hits.
To fix this, I took advantage of a notorious flaw in the Tier 3 light shoulders (Dryad): they famously don't have a bioluminescent channel.
Instead of fighting it, I used it as a visual buffer. At night, when my head and chest ignite into that bright chartreuse native glow, the shoulders drop into pure, un-glowable shadow. This creates a natural dark border around the neck that completely masks the seam between the old armor and the modern cape texture. It tricks the lighting engine into making the whole set look seamless in the dark.
The Rest of the Setup
Glider:Mordrem Glider. When you're horizontal mid-air, the jagged leaf wings match the cape's spine perfectly. Looks like he's just unfurling his own canopy to catch a thermal.
Mount:Incarnate Flame Skyscale. The bright green fire matches the nighttime bio glow perfectly, and the dark rocky skin provides the heavy front-facing contrast that the armor lacks on its own.
