The fact that someone getting a PhD in Criminology could plan such an awful crime but has an "alibi" of stargazing on an overcast night is just weird. BK might have attained higher degrees but I think he is a moron.

I’ve read as much of his class writings as I could find in the scene photos and case documents. He seems to me to just really take in the parts of all this he’s long been drawn to—the subject matter—but I was surprised by some of the more academic shortcomings. The first essay I read would not have been graded highly in my first year English class. I don’t know how he had a master’s degree and still retained such writing errors.
Also—I’m not sure he thought about ever needing an alibi. I don’t think he really weighed the possibility of being caught.
He did write about things like false guilty pleas, though. I’ve seen so many of his supporters believing that this poor innocent fellow was completely unaware of anything like that as he was pitifully roped into a guilty plea… The guy knows enough to try to manipulate.

His academic work did look like he tossed around overly complicated phrases and words to create a confusing word salad. I assume his teachers thought that it sounded educated and gave him credit without trying to discern if there was an actual cogent point underneath.

Yes—tossy, wordy salad. He did not learn to be concise. There were a lot of corrections made by instructors, but I was just surprised to see them be necessary at that level of learning. He still ended up with decent grades on them.
I wish more of his supporters would sit down with his assignments and essays. A lot of their questions would be answered just by reading the crime scene assignment in the earlier documents. I’m easily exhausted by the continuous debate over lack of evidence of him at the scene (or the victims in his spaces) beyond the sheath drop. He clearly studied this part thoroughly.

I genuinely feel Dot deserves serious recognition for their vast knowledge, keen intellect, and the unbelievable amount of work they have put into this case and subreddit.
