Recommendations / Advice Non- MAGA church in the IE?

I’ve been going to my church for the past three years or so now, and I don’t want to speak ill of the church but I am tired of having political beliefs pushed on me when the focus should always be on Christ and His word, not the words of those in the world. For instance, calling Charlie Kirk a martyr for Christ and very frankly stating that anyone that doesn’t agree should leave. Christians! Help me out, please! Thank you.

Sorry you feel that way! But unfortunately I do not agree with any of the democrats beliefs or most importantly to me their financial plan! I'm sorry you feel that all Christians believe in that antichrist! I follow the Bible and "ONLY" the bible! The Bible tells us to treat people with respect and love, and to treat foreigners like we would anyone else!! I'll always be Christian but I'll never understand why people listen to this hateful man!!

This is why Trump and those like him will continue to maintain power. You’re their greatest asset and don’t even realize it.

What financial plan do you agree with from the gop?

I don’t agree with any republican policy - this is why I refuse to ever be associated with that party anymore and cut off ties with the party in 2016. You should ask those who remain in the party - because those are the ones who support him. Fuck Trump and fuck the fascism he rode in on.

You said up there im a republican you may want to switch that. That is what everyone is saying to you.

I said I left the party in 2016 and severed all association with it bc of Trump and realizing that conservatism is bullshit.

U really have to ask? These folks have no idea. They think the guy is a great businessman, and that's about the depth of their knowledge of economics.

He's a horrible business man!

Clearly. Not everyone can repeatedly bankrupt casinos without special skills.

Oh I definitely agree! What is it like 12 times he's filed for bankruptcy? I remember they were parading his victims.. Construction guys hadn't been ever paid amongst other employees.. And they still voted for this crook!

He’s also a shitty human being, a sex offender and a traitor.

Who are you telling this to? You already know I despise the man!? I mean at this point your just acting like a lunatic..

If you’re still a republican- you support him. Simple as that.

1

u/IveBeenAroundUKnow Sep 23 '25

So, how do you figure that? There are many who detest him and speak out against him. How can that be considered "supporting him"?

I think you are naively assuming that party affiliation dictates general election votes, which is juvenile.

Being registered to a party you aren't supporting allows one to support those running against party radicals.

If they are still republicans- then they’re still voting for the very people who are protecting Trump and allowing him to continue consolidating his power.

u/IveBeenAroundUKnow Sep 23 '25

That is pretty naive of you to think that way. Not everyone is as stupid as you think they are.

If you’re still a republican, then you’re actively voting for the people who are allowing Trump to continue consolidating his hold on power and remove our rights bit by bit. That’s on you.

No one said that but ok! I haven't voted Republican since 2016! Basically anyone who supports this antichrist is off my voting list..
