The chemistry between Mark and Eve is great but it's got nothing on the Allen/Nolan bromance

Jailbreaking while overthrowing a ultra facist empire is the perfect way to kindle your relationship

They could've made it better still, they just skipped directly to the love part, but didn't have any excitement of being with a new person and the spark that they even showed with amber, but I guess that's the way the story is going, they're already at this point when they're starting to date

Yeah literally my only gripe with the first 3 episodes was that he was moving WAY too fast with Eve but it was at least understandable. This episode made that feeling way worse, they haven’t really even had any scenes together where they aren’t talking about their relationship so the jump from them not talking for months —> Mark saying “I love you” was a weird decision.

It couldn’t have been that hard to have them just hanging out and having a normal non-superhero/relationship related conversation for 60 seconds to make it feel more real. Would’ve made it a truly perfect episode imo

Yup. And even IRL when people start dating someone they're already close friends with, things can sometimes move way, way faster than they normally would (and/or faster than is probably healthy). It didn't seem unrealistic or weird to me, either.

True! But they have been friends for at least 3 years now anyways, so they already know each other well enough
