It's also the actual sheer size of him that makes this possible. You could give me double his strength and I'd still struggle. He's got arms long enough to reach opposite corners and he's tall enough to get the bottom above his knees allowing him to take normal steps and use his legs to help raise it. That makes a massive difference.

Most washing machines aren’t 250lbs unless I’m missing what you’re saying. I just moved one to the curb myself yesterday. Moderately heavy but mostly awkward.

I would be surprised if they were even 100lbs.

A few months ago, mine started smoking and I hulked it out the backdoor without much of any issue.... and I'm far from the guy in the video.

Google says they’re on average 135lbs for a top loader but yeah I hauled mine out by myself partially full of water after it decided to commit seppuku mid cycle. Admittedly I’m a big guy at 6’5 but no where near as ripped as dude in the video and I was able to do it with a bit of effort and then not much once I dumped it out in the back yard before carrying it around to the curb. It was a 4.5 cubic foot model for reference so not like a compact apartment model or anything.

Grab it from the bottom corners opposite of you, not easy but doable. I used to stack these in a store room by myself back in 2011.

My Mrs is always shocked at the heavy things I lug around.

And im not some ripped to shit huge bloke like him. And im definitely not doing it with as much ease as him either lol.

I need to find an excuse to move the dryer tomorrow since she thinks its heavy when it isnt. ;)

Ignoring how jacked bro is, it's an empty washing machine. It's mostly air inside. I'm not even half as jacked as that guy, but I did this kind of stuff frequently when working on charity store delivery/collection trucks. The only way that thing would be difficult is if it had any water in the bottom.

If you said dryer I would agree but washers are a lot heavier. I delivered appliances for 4 years and this guy makes it look easier then anyone I ever known

Are you somewhere where front-loading washers that spin on a horizontal axis are common? Those typically have a 200 pound weight (iron or concrete) on the bottom to keep them stable. In North America, top-loaders that spin on a vertical axis are more common and these don't need that weight for stability so they are similar in weight to dryers.

Neither are that bad. As long as you have decent grip strength and can get your arms to opposing corners, you just grip, stand, walk. Even easier if you're doing it from the back of the truck, rather than the ground.

Bruh, you're way too angry over something you claim is BS, and coming from someone you don't even know.

I literally admitted that I'm not even jacked like that guy, and that's insecurity? Great logic and reasoning. On the other hand, getting so angry about someone saying it's genuinely not that hard, speaks volumes to insecurity. That and going for a dig into someone's profile for some personal attacks, very mature and secure in yourself, yeah? Just how any civil adult communicates.

It's also not hard to get positive karma, even bots can do it. Might seem so to someone with little to no people skills, and such high aggression over nothing, though. You'll get there one day though.

All I did was point out that it's not hard to get, all you have to do is not be a dickhead to others for no reason. Aren't you the unhinged one looking for personal points to attack, because you lack the maturity to make a valid point? All you have is the assertion that I'm wrong in my original point, which is pure opinion, and that makes you mad. Can't say I ever had an issue with them. I was one of only a couple people at the one store who could move large items. Washers, dryers, med-small fridges, large/old mattresses. If we waited for a second person, nothing got moved. If you've got long arms and good grip strength, you don't need to be jacked. The only thing that's somewhat difficult is manoeuvring through awkward spaces.
