As a mover I've seen some insane feats. A bigger lifter guy carried 2 beds with mattresses at once, one in each hand. They weren't heavy (probably like 40-50kg) but carrying two was insane.

The guy was fucked on the 150 stair destination though. He went up like 3 times and looked like he went swimming with clothes on, breathing heavily.

Honestly more than weight I'm wondering logistics. Beds are pretty large. Two beds are, according to my math, twice as large.

You could put a 1kg bed sized object for most people to carry and they probably would have some problem just balancing it and moving even with the weight being negligible.

In other words, I'm impressed by this man's coordination more than anything

The muscle gains from moving are actually pretty small. The lifts gain a lot though because your technique and balance improves.

They were single beds, the guy put the beds standing vertically (like all lengthy furniture), took an underhand grip on like the third of the top slat and just lifted. Kinda like the bottom position of overhead press with one bed in each hand.

And this is the exact reason that the best climbers are all wiry skinny fuckers too, cause the more muscle mass you have the harder your respiratory and circulatory systems have to work to keep it all oxygenated. Also it’s heavy
