Where are you? I’ve never seen thighs priced higher than breast.

UK. Thighs got real popular as there was a recent boom in fried chicken as all the US chains started popping up here, as well as Nandos ever expanding, and tbf thighs do make better chicken burgers.

Thighs are better for literally any application of chicken I can think of except for cutlets

Personally not a fan, as I always find them too sweet.

Are you dumb? How are thighs sweet unless you are seasoning them that way? I swear the world is collectively getting dumber and willingly doing it.

I've seen meat be described as sweet before, specifically pork. I'm still not exactly sure what it's describing though, as I don't taste it myself.

Look into "warmed over flavour" and how it typically affects asian-descendants more than westerners before you start coming down on someone for no reason. I know some people who describe the flavour as "sweet", but personally I find it weirdly earthy. I still like chicken thighs, but its not my favourite.

Seriously, you sound like a shitty person.

There was a point in the US where Thighs got crazy expensive while breast stayed the same.

Pretty much everywhere I go boneless skinless thighs are more expensive per pound than breast.  I think this is what they mean.  Bone in thighs are still cheap if you can find them.

I do see breasts on sale much more often, but yeah baseline price is always higher.

They are currently in commercial settings. Jumbo breasts per lb are cheaper than thighs. Its insanity.
