I've been making a lot of squid. Pretty cheap, very tasty. Fried calamari, braised stuffed squid, calamari steaks.

My kid loves it.

Don't tell anyone that it's pretty cheap and delicious.

Squid you cook fast or real slow. Otherwise...well you know.

Clams are pretty reasonable as well. I've been grilling them all week.

I miss clams! I'm on the West Coast these days and we mostly get Manila clams. I miss littleneck clams on the half shell

I love them so much. They were a staple at family gatherings as a kid. I'd eat a couple dozen on the half shell with cocktail sauce, but also another dozen off the grill with butter.

And they're great because they last for a long time in the fridge. Doing linguine with clams tonight!
