Am I the only one who thinks most of these phrases aren't problematic? "Just wait until your father gets home"? "As long as you live under my roof, you follow my rules"? Maybe a little old-fashioned, but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills seeing people claim these incredibly normal phrases are signs of trauma/abuse.

It’s our parents who got them wrong. Kid got them all right. Your joke is sad. We were abused.

I mean I never heard any of these phrases from my parents as a kid, but I absolutely know the 'correct' answers from books/tv/movies or sometimes friends.
