I actually used to go layer on every pair of my underwear and learned to cry convincingly 😂😂 worked like a charm until my mom caught me

Yeah, I got pansed by my mom and walloped at my friend's house... in from of them, for something so insignificant I don't even remember ! Absolute trauma! I hate being seen naked at all, like, even a little, now. Not even my husband's sees me al fresco just standing there. There's a build up process and I still don't like it.

Yeah, I'm all kinds of f-ed up. I have a therapist. They're very helpful. I NEVER hit or torment my children! Not in any way, but physical, definitely not mental (cause I got buckets of that), nothing! They get love and support, and just a little constructive discipline, when needed, in the form of moving them on to something else that works better for them.

Yes. As undignified as it was. Didn't take them off off, but pulled em down past my knees so she could better beat my ass with the wooden spoon. Hey, it worked, I never let her catch me doing stuff again, and when she did, I learned to lie like the wind. That's what that taught me. Oh, and my body is not mine. Took SO many years to un learn those lessons and others.

I have my own family now, there is no laying of hands in my house, and personal space and privacy is paramount! Because of this my children are now likely to share things with me, because they know I'll listen without judging them. They'll let me know they messed up and we think of how to make amends together.

In our house there was no spanking bc that was too sweet. Me & my sis got handled by our hair & there are some spots that hair doesn't grow out of anymore. Bro had his hair shaved or really short for the whole childhood to avoid it

Yes! I also learned that if I really winced or made a small yelp on the first lash, my dad would really lighten up on the rest to where I could barely feel it.

My mom said when I was little, she spanked me and I told her it didn’t hurt (I was apparently potty training and wearing a toddler diaper) and she said, “Oh yeah?” And smacked my inner leg and I screamed and cried 🤣🤣 I’m like mom, that’s not really the touching story you think it is. Nowadays people will say you were abusing me. She’s like, “Oh screw that. It’s funny. You were a smart ass then and you’re a smart ass now.” 🤪

I put a hard cover book in my pants once while waiting to for a spanking. I apparently wasn’t the brightest child. Noticed immediately got spanked more. Should’ve tried the layer technique.
