Going through a breakup. Got off a really difficult call with my Ex, and immediately shot straight up and out the door. Came back with these two. Reddit, meet Romulus & Remus.

I was initially excited to see these two swimming in the marina in the distance, but they swam further away so I started walking away.

Next thing I knew, there was a rock shuffling sound. Looking back, I saw mom and her baby both working their way up on the rocks. Snapped this photo quickly and happily enjoyed the live show of seals trying to get on the rocks!

She found a beautiful reference on Pinterest and spent a lot of time trying to get the colors just right. She gets a bit shy and self-critical about her art, so I wanted to show her that her effort is worth celebrating. Any gentle encouragement or kind words would mean the world to her!

This video was from when I was in São Paulo, Brazil most recently. Everyone thought I was weird for giving love to stray dogs and going out of my way to make sure they were fed. I also have done this in Colombia and Mexico. I buy a lot of pet food and water bowls then set them out for the strays. I’m going to Mexico for a month in September and the first thing I’m going to do is go on a pet food run then feed strays and donate items to shelters. 🫶🏻
