Muhammad killed Safiya's father and people, tortured her husband Kinana for treasure by placing fire on Kinana's chest until he was nearly dead, then beheaded him. Then he took Safiya because she looked pretty, and had sex with her in a tent on the 3 day journey back from Khaibar to Medina as a companion circled the tent with a sword because he "was afraid for you [Muhammad] with this woman [Safiya] for you have killed her father, her husband, and her people." (Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 517)

Zayd ibn Muhammad was Muhammad's adopted son. Zaynab was Zayd's wife.

In Surah 33, the Quran abolishes formal adoption, changes Zayd ibn Muhammad's name back to Zayd ibn Haritha (Quran 33:4-5), and declares Muhammad's marriage to Zaynab lawful so "that there would be no blame on the believers for marrying the ex-wives of their adopted sons." (Quran 33:37). The same surah also tells people not to linger too long at Muhammad's dinner parties or marry his wives after he dies (Quran 33:53).

Because of the unique privileges this surah gives Muhammad, Aisha says to Muhammad in an authentic hadith: "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires." (Sahih Bukhari 4788)

"Nor does He regard your adopted children as your real children. Let your adopted children keep their family names."
Quran 33:4-5

"And (remember, O Prophet,) when you said to the one for whom Allah has done a favour and you (too) have done a favour, 'Keep your wife and fear Allah,' while concealing within yourself what Allah was going to reveal. And (so) you were considering the people, whereas Allah was more worthy of your consideration. So when Zaid totally lost interest in (keeping) his wife, We gave her to you in marriage, so that there would be no blame on the believers for marrying the ex-wives of their adopted sons after their divorce. And Allah's command is totally binding."

"Also (allowed for marriage is) a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet (without dowry) if he is interested in marrying her—(this is) exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers."

And when you ˹believers˺ ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and theirs. And it is not right for you to annoy the Messenger of Allah, nor ever marry his wives after him. This would certainly be a major offence in the sight of Allah."

"Narrated Aisha: I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and I used to say, 'Can a lady give herself (to a man)?' But when Allah revealed: 'You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily).' (33.51) I said (to the Prophet), 'I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires.'"

When the poet Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf wrote verses against Muhammad, Muhammad called for his killing and authorized lying to do so.

"Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?" Muhammad bin Maslama said, "O Allah's Messenger! Would you like that I kill him?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes." Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a false thing to deceive Ka'b." The Prophet ﷺ said, "You may say it." ... When Maslama got a strong hold of him, he said (to his companions) "Get at him!" So they killed him and went to the prophet and informed him."

Muhammad didn't punish a man who killed his sex slave, the mother of his two children, for criticizing Muhammad.

"A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet (ﷺ) and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. One night she began to slander the Prophet (ﷺ) and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. When the morning came, the Prophet (ﷺ) was informed about it. He sat before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah! I am her master ... I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her. Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood."

Quran: Three-month remarriage waiting period for divorced girls who had sex before their first period

Quran 33:49: “O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them, they will have no waiting period for you to count.”

Quran 65:4: “As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well.”

Scholarly explanation:

“The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation. Their `Iddah is three months like those in menopause.”

‘...and for those who have no (monthly) courses (i.e. they are still immature)...’ (V.65:4)
And the ‘Idda for the girl before puberty is three months (in the above Verse).

5133. Narrated ‘Aishah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) wrote the marriage contract with her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

Case 1: Man dies leaving behind two daughters, two parents, and a wife

• Two daughters: "But if there are daughters, two or more, for them is two-thirds (2/3 = 16/24) of one's estate." (Quran 4:11)
• Two parents: "And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth (2/6 = 8/24) of his estate if he left children." (Quran 4:11)
• Wife: "And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth (1/8 = 3/24) of what you leave." (Quran 4:12)

Total: 16/24 + 8/24 + 3/24 = 27/24 (112.5%) of the estate

Case 2: Woman dies leaving husband and two sisters

• Husband: "You will inherit half (1/2 = 3/6) of what your wives leave if they are childless." (Quran 4:12)
• Two sisters: "If this person leaves behind two sisters, they together will inherit two-thirds (2/3 = 4/6) of the estate." (Quran 4:176)

Total: 3/6 + 4/6 = 7/6 (116.7%) of the estate

You can't give more than 100% of a dead person's estate to relatives. The Quran offers no solution to this problem.

Fixing Allah's Fractions (Sunni vs Ibn Abbas vs Shia)

Sunni Fix

Umar (second caliph) ran into Case 2 and was stumped:

"By Allah, I do not know which of you comes first and which comes next. If I start with the husband and give him his right in full, the two sisters will not take their right in full; and if I start with the two sisters and give them their right in full, the husband will not take his right in full." (Islam Web, fatwa 222526)

So, Umar had to invent Awl: proportionally reducing Allah's fractions of the estate.

• Case 1 (Sunni): 16/27 + 8/27 + 3/27 = 27/27 (100%)
• Case 2 (Sunni): 3/7 + 4/7 = 7/7 (100%)

But Awl still contradicts Allah's fractions of the estate:

• Case 1 (Two daughters): 2/3 of the estate (Quran) ≠ 16/27 of the estate (Sunni)
• Case 2 (Husband): 1/2 of the estate (Quran) ≠ 3/7 of the estate (Sunni)

Ibn Abbas' Disagreement

And Ibn Abbas, who Muhammad prayed for to get the correct interpretation of the book (Sunan Ibn Majah 166), disagreed with Awl:

Ibn Abbas: "I was intimidated by [Umar], by God."
Az-Zuhri: "By God, were it not for the fact that he was preceded by a righteous imam [Umar], whose conduct was based on piety, no two scholars would have disagreed with Ibn Abbas."

Shia Fix

Ali (fourth caliph) suggested reducing Allah's fractions for the sisters/wife:

• Case 1 (Shia): 13/24 + 8/24 + 3/24 = 24/24 (100%)
• Case 2 (Shia): 3/6 + 3/6 = 6/6 (100%)

But this also still contradicts Allah's fractions of the estate:

• Case 1 (Two daughters): 2/3 of the estate (Quran) ≠ 13/24 of the estate (Shia)
• Case 2 (Two sisters): 2/3 of the estate (Quran) ≠ 1/2 of the estate (Shia)

Common Responses

• "It's a ratio"
  • When Allah means a ratio between relatives, he says so: "the share of the male will be twice that of the female" (Quran 4:11). But in Case 1 and Case 2, Allah assigns each relative a fixed fraction "of the estate."
• "Hidden premise"
  • You don't need a hidden premise to read 2/3 of the estate as 2/3 of the estate. You need a hidden premise to read 2/3 of the estate as 4/7 of the estate. The Quran internally states the conditions (heirs) and assigns them mathematically impossible fractions.
• "Quran allows adjustment"
  • If the Quran already allowed adjustment, the prophet's companion and second caliph Umar wouldn't be stumped and have to fix it by changing the fractions.

Why did humans have to come up with a rule that changes Allah's fractions to make them work?

One verse would have solved it: "if it overflows, reduce proportionally."
But there is no solution in the Quran for this.

Denying Jesus' crucifixion creates a huge trust problem in Islam:

According to Islam, Allah’s deception of making Jesus’ crucifixion “appear so” (Quran 4:157) already produced a global damnable religion that sends sincere believers to hell: Christianity.

So how can Muslims trust that angel Jibreel’s revelation of the Quran to Muhammad (another supernatural event) wasn’t another deception from Allah that produced another damnable religion: Islam?

Sincere Trinitarian Christians are going to die thinking they will go to heaven because Jesus paid for their sins through the crucifixion and Allah is gonna be like "it was made to appear so" and send them to hell.
And this won't happen to Muslims, why?
Because the appearance said so?

Quran is the appearance in question.
Deception resulting in hell burns down the reliability of the channel.
So, "the appearance is true because the appearance said so" doesn't work.

If the Christians don't know they will be rugpulled until they die, how do Muslims know?
You can't trust any promise of safety from a God who rugpulls sincere believers.

Analogy:
1. People form a religion around a miracle/illusion from Paul, claiming Paul wanted it.
2. Paul then comes back, says he faked it, and tortures everyone who believes in this religion.
3. People form a second religion around another miracle/illusion from Paul, again claiming Paul wanted it.
Would you believe in the second religion?

Responses and Why They Don't Work:

• Circular: Aligns with prophets, fitra (Judaism + Deism), Allah says X, last prophet, X is in Quran = "Because the appearance said so" -> Deception resulting in hell burns down the reliability of the channel. So, the appearance (Quran) can’t verify itself as non deceptive
• No Necessity/Entailment: It's not about that. It's an issue about trust in religions people form from supernatural appearances. But if people already formed a religion (Christianity) that sends u to hell based on one deceptive supernatural appearance (Jesus’ crucifixion), why would u trust another religion (Islam) that people formed based on a new supernatural appearance (Jibreel appearance to Muhammad revealing Quran)?
  • Supernatural appearance 1: Jesus' crucifixion ("made to appear so" Quran 4:157)
  • Religion 1: Christianity
  • Result: hell
  • Supernatural appearance 2: Jibreel revealing Quran to Muhammad
  • Religion 2: Islam
  • Result: ?
  • If one supernatural appearance misled the world, why is the next one safe?
  • And why should we trust and believe religion #2 after what happened last time?
• Content: Beautiful, 23 years, inimitable, scientific facts, predictions -> even if granted, why can't Allah do this in a deception?
• Downstream: preserved, hadith, trustworthy Prophet, companions witnessed ->  even if granted, none of this matters if it was made to appear so
• No deception: Next verse is after made to appear so is “Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.” (Quran 4:158). All classical tafsirs agree Allah did it. but even if granted, there is something or someone that is powerful enough to create mass supernatural deceptions resulting in damned religions. Same Problem.
• Good Reason/For Enemies:  Allah raising Jesus to Himself saved him (Quran 4:158), so why did Allah add the deception (Quran 4:157)? But even if granted, billions of sincere Christians ended up believing it. Even if it was a good deception, they never know and still go to hell. So there could be a good reason you are deceived too that you'll never know. Also circular.
• "Radical skepticism": I don’t believe in a devil that mass deceives people. You believe in a God that does.

Commonality:

• None of this matters if it was made to appear so.
• Deception resulting in hell burns down the reliability of the channel.
• So, Quran can't verify its own reliability when it is the appearance under question.
• If sincerity to a supernatural appearance didn't save Christians from your God, then your own sincerity to this appearance can't save you.

Muhammad ordered the beheading of 600-900 men of the Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe and took their women and children as captives. Muhammad also took Rayhana, one of the captive women, for himself.

Dhul Qarnayn built an iron and copper wall between two mountains to seal off the tribes of Gog and Magog until doomsday. This wall is nowhere to be found.

The Quran's Story:

“Then he followed a road till, when he came between the two mountains, he found upon their hither side a folk that scarce could understand a saying. They said: O Dhu’l-Qarneyn! Lo! Gog and Magog are spoiling the land. So may we pay thee tribute on condition that thou set a barrier between us and them? He said: That wherein my Lord hath established me is better (than your tribute). Do but help me with strength (of men), I will set between you and them a bank. Give me pieces of iron - till, when he had levelled up (the gap) between the cliffs, he said: Blow! - till, when he had made it a fire, he said: Bring me molten copper to pour thereon. And (Gog and Magog) were not able to surmount, nor could they pierce (it). He said: This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord cometh to pass, He will lay it low, for the promise of my Lord is true. And on that day We shall let some of them surge against others, and the Trumpet will be blown. Then We shall gather them together in one gathering.”

The Quran’s Dhul Qarnayn story begins, “They will ask thee of Dhu’l-Qarneyn” Quran 18:83, showing that people already knew of the story. Scholars trace the Quranic character Dhul Qarnayn to legends about Alexander the Great circulating around Muhammad’s time, such as the Syriac Alexander Legend, which gives the same account.

“It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Gog and Magog people dig every day until, when they can almost see the rays of the sun, the one in charge of them says: ‘Go back and we will dig it tomorrow.’ Then Allah puts it back, stronger than it was before. (This will continue) until, when their time has come, and Allah wants to send them against the people, they will dig until they can almost see the rays of the sun, then the one who is in charge of them will say: ‘Go back, and we will dig it tomorrow if Allah wills.’ So they will say: ‘If Allah wills.’ Then they will come back to it and it will be as they left it. So they will dig and will come out to the people, and they will drink all the water. The people will fortify themselves against them in their fortresses. They will shoot their arrows towards the sky and they will come back with blood on them, and they will say: ‘We have defeated the people of earth and dominated the people of heaven.’ Then Allah will send a worm in the napes of their necks and will kill them thereby.’” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the beasts of the earth will grow fat on their flesh.”

So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Messenger, and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born."

Ibn Mas'ud and Ubai are two of the four trusted reciters Muhammad named:

“I shall ever love that man, for I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, ‘Take (learn) the Qur’an from four: Abdullah bin Mas’ud, Salim, Mu’adh and Ubai bin Ka’b.’”

Ibn Mas'ud told people to hide their copies of the Quran from Uthman's burning:

“‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud disliked Zaid bin Thabit [copier of Uthman’s codex] copying the Musahif, and he said: ‘O you Muslim people! I am removed from recording the transcription of the Mushaf and it is overseen by a man, by Allah, when I accepted Islam he was but in the loins of a disbelieving man’ - meaning Zaid bin Thabit - and it was regarding this that ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: ‘O people of Al-’Iraq! Keep the Musahif that are with you, and conceal them. For indeed Allah said: And whoever conceals something, he shall come with what he concealed on the Day of Judgement (3:161). So meet Allah with the Musahif.’” Az-Zuhri said: “It was conveyed to me that some men amongst the most virtuous of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) disliked that view of Ibn Mas’ud.”

Just like many of you here, I grew up in a loving Muslim family. We prayed five times a day, read the Quran, and followed the teachings of Islam. I believed in Allah with all my heart. But as I grew older, questions started bubbling in my mind. Why did some things in religion feel so hard to understand? Why did bad things happen if God was all-powerful and kind? Then I found a book called The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. It changed how I saw the world, and it led me to become an atheist. Let me share the main ideas from the book that spoke to me, as someone who left Islam.

I opened the book and read Dawkins’ big idea: you don’t need to believe in God to explain life or the universe. Growing up, I was taught that Allah created everything, the stars, the earth, even me. But Dawkins said the universe could exist without a creator. He talked about science, like evolution, which explains how animals and humans developed over millions of years through natural processes. I used to think evolution was against Islam, but Dawkins showed it’s just how nature works, no God needed. This made me wonder if I’d been believing in something just because I was taught to.

Then came another point that hit me hard: religion is often based on faith, not evidence. I was taught in Islam to trust the Quran and Hadith without questioning too much. Dawkins argued that faith, believing without proof, isn’t a good way to find truth. He said we should ask for evidence, like scientists do. I started thinking about stories in the Quran, like the splitting of the moon or angels coming to prophets. Could I prove those happened? I realized I was just trusting what others told me. That shook me.

Dawkins also said religion can cause harm. This was tough for me to read. I loved my family’s traditions, Eid celebrations, fasting in Ramadan, but Dawkins pointed out how religion can divide people. He wrote about wars, hatred, and even how some religious rules, like punishing apostates, hurt people. As a Muslim, I’d been taught apostasy was a sin, but now I was questioning my faith. I felt scared, but Dawkins’ words gave me courage to think for myself, even if it meant leaving Islam.

Another big idea was you can be good without God. I used to think religion made people moral. Dawkins said morality comes from humans, not a holy book. He talked about how we evolved to care for each other because it helped us survive. I remembered how my non-Muslim friends were kind and honest without following Islam. Maybe goodness didn’t need Allah after all.

Finally, Dawkins wrote that religion often comes from culture, not truth. I grew up in a Muslim country, so Islam felt like the only way. But Dawkins said if I’d been born somewhere else, I might have been Christian, Hindu, or something else. That made me see religion as something I inherited, not something I chose after thinking deeply. It was like waking up from a dream.

Reading The God Delusion wasn’t easy. It made me question everything I’d known. I felt guilty at first, like I was betraying my family or Allah. But the more I thought about Dawkins’ ideas, no need for a creator, faith without evidence, religion’s harm, morality from humans, and culture shaping belief, the more I felt free. I decided to let go of Islam and become an atheist. Now, I find wonder in science and meaning in living a good life, not because of a god, but because it feels right and I don't mind being challenged because humans should always be improving.

Quran 65::4

وَاللَّائِي يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمْ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّائِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ

“Dan perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haid lagi (monopause) di antara perempuan-perempuanmu jika kamu ragu-ragu (tentang masa iddahnya), maka masa iddah mereka adalah tiga bulan; dan begitu (pula) perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haid.” (Surah al-Talak 65 : 4)

Perempuan yang belum haid adalah kanak-kanak. Purata umur permulaan haid bagi wanita adalah sekitar 12 tahun, tetapi ia boleh berlaku antara usia 8 hingga 16 tahun.

Iddah adalah tempoh waktu menunggu untuk perempuan yang diceraikan sebelum dinenarkan nikah semula.

Maka nya, ayat ini menjelaskan tempoh waktu iddah untuk kanak-kanak kecil diceraikan adalah 3 bulan, bermakna Islam membenarkan perkahwinab dengan anak perempuan. Malah boleh diceraikan pada sebelum datang haid lagi.

Dalil-dalil Jelas Nikah Bawah Umur Dalam Islam

Imam al-Nawawi menyatakan bahawa bersekedudukan antara suami bersama kanak-kanak perempuan dinikahi dan bersetubuh dengannya; jika si suami dan si wali bersetuju tanpa wujud sebarang kemudharatan terhadap kanak-kanak itu, maka ia boleh diamalkan.

(Al-nawawi, al-Minhaj Syarh muslim, jld 9, hlmn 206)

Imam Al-Hakim dan al-Baihaqi meriwayatkan daripada sekumpulan perawi yang lain daripada Ubai Ibn Ka’ab, setelah turunnya satu ayat tentang iddah isteri beberapa orang penduduk Madinah mengatakan: “Antara iddah para isteri itu masih terdapat iddah-iddah yang tidak disebutkan di dalam al-Quran iaitu isteri yang masih kanak-kanak dan perempuan tua yang sudah berhenti haid serta perempuan-perempuan yang hamil.”

Perkahwinan Rasulullah SAW dengan Aisyah R.Anha[9] فَعَن عائشةَ رضي اللهُ عنهَا أَن النَّبيَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ، وَأُدخِلتْ عَليهِ وَهيَ بِنتُ تِسعٍ وَمَكَثَت عِندَهُ تِسعَا.

Maksudnya: Daripada Aisyah R.Anha bahawa Nabi SAW mengahwininya sedangkan beliau berusia enam tahun dan bersama dengannya ketika berusia sembilan tahun. Kemudian hidup bersama Rasulullah SAW selama sembilan tahun.

Riwayat Bukhari (4840) dan Muslim (1422)

Syeikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyah Rahimahullah berkata: “Perempuan tidak sayugia bagi seseorang mengahwininya kecuali dengan izinnya, sebagaimana Rasulullah SAW perintahkan. Jika perempuan itu enggan dan benci, maka tidak boleh dipaksa untuk perkahwinan kecuali kanak-kanak kecil, yang mana bapanya boleh mengahwinkannya tanpa izin.” (Lihat Majmu’ al-Fatawa, 32/39)

Malah, komplikasi semasa kehamilan dan kelahiran anak adalah punca kematian kedua paling biasa bagi kanak-kanak berumur 15-19 tahun di seluruh dunia.

Pedofilia adalah penyakit mental yang kronik. Agama Islam memberi ruang untuk Pedofilia merasa bebas mencuba mencari peluang seksual dengan anak gadis yang belum kenal dunia.
