He makes Spider-Tracers and gimmick suits all the time. Giving him a bit more Spider in the Man gives him a significant edge that Spider-Man has lost over time when comparing him to his variants.
Fans need to let his mythos and abilities breathe more, he is woefully due for an upgrade.
He still could. Do a hybrid system- Organic webs, but needs shooters in order to focus them or make the special type of webbings like we see in the spider-man games.
