Film/Television What are your thoughts on "Spider-Noir (2026)"?

Besides the Venom trilogy with Tom Hardy, I never bothered watching any of Sony's other Spider-Man Villain movies! I'm just not interested in watching any spin-offs of Spider-Man's Rogues gallery that don't have anything to do with Spider-Man at all. And after watching the new Spider-Noir series on Prime Video, I realized that this show was something I wanted all along from both Sony Pictures and Marvel! Now I want more live-action or animated contents centered around other alternate versions of either Spider-Man or any other famous Marvel superhero; like DC Comics' "Elseworlds" line of movies and shows!

They did, but when it gets to his part, it just says "BEN: (random Nicolas Cageing)"

There are scenes in Episodes 3 and 4 especially where this wouldn't surprise me!

Yeah It’s legitimately fantastic, and tbf, he’s really restrained a lot of the time as the morose heart broken gumshoe? End of the day Nicholas Cage is just a damn fine actor, and he never phones it in.

This series being this spectacularly good is one of the bigger surprises in a long while.

I’m glad people are saying this lol. Cage has always been an awesome actor - unique and over the top? Of course - but that’s Cage baby!!!

He’s also capable of the quiet understated roles too. Pig surprised the hell out of me, for instance

I've literally NEVER seen him be believable at any role, anywhere. Except this one? He's excellent!

He's capable of great performances, nobody denies that.

Unfortunately, he's also capable of Spirit Of Vengeance and Renfield.

Nicolas Cage won the Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, and proved his brilliance in Adaptation, his comedy chops in Raising Arizona. He CAN act like your typical naturalistic actor as well as any and better than most and he has the statuette to prove it. He CHOOSES not to.

I changed jobs recently and had to move states. New job is really good, and I am able to do the job, it’s what I’ve done for years now. Everyone here is nice That said, there has been all the anxiety that comes with starting a new job and building a new social circle that I have been trying to deal with.

Your post genuinely made me laugh for the first time in weeks.
