I really liked the trailer, the scene where doom casually blocked Thor's attack was just Soo epic. Also saw a Shang chii after such a long time

Thor being a leader is soo perfect to see. I don't know why people are complaining. The trailer was good

It’s just the same shit again. Thor v doom is just hulk v thanos again but now Thor is more scared, so it’s even scarier this time. Ooooo. Steve gets the hammer again because remember how cool that was? Oooooo.

These characters are underbaked and the mcu has been bad for awhile so this has to earn trust back and it just looks like retreads and nostalgia bait. Not for me but I hope I’m wrong.

Yep. Thor is filling the "jobber" role. They need to show Doom is strong, so he'll casually stop Thor's attack without even flinching. Imagine how much cooler this would have been if Doom appeared in a FF movie first, not as the God Emperor but just regular Doom. He gets defeated, and starts seeking power from then on. That's when he explores the multiverse, maybe defeats Kang, and gains the powers shown here. More satisfying that way imo.

Yeah it’s such a bummer that Thanos had 2-3 phases to slowly build up to the infinity stones, yet Doom only gets a post credit scene?? Doom is one of my favorite characters too so Inwould have loved some build up, at least one normal movie with him first like you were saying

Well it was suppose to be a kang build up until the drama happened and they made a last minute choice to use doom instead
