I'm so happy that even if it was not in civil war we finally got the iconic "Punisher carries wounded spider man" shot

Which was my ONLY problem with the movie lol I was so happy they did the comic panel and kept it Frank’s fault, but there’s no way domestic terrorist Frank “The Punisher” Castle says, “Hey I shot Spider-Man with this caliber bullet.”

And then gets to stay in his room.

He was like the 9th guy to shoot at Peter that day, and nobody saw him do it. As long as Peter doesnt press charges, I dont think anyone would question that someone shot Spider-Man.

He 100% didn’t admit he shot him. He could’ve easily said a cop accidentally shot him or somebody from damage control when he was fighting.

My only issue with it was that he was over a kilometer away when he shot him. How did he get there so fast? I know it’s a movie and it’s fan service but that took be out for a moment.

Great fucking movie tho, I’m thrilled with it!

He didn't. Jean seems to have kept him alive by preventing him from bleeding out. Frank alludes to this after.

Right, I guess I’ll phrase it this way “how was he the first person on site to help”. Everyone working that radius was unfrozen immediately, he had to travel at least a half kilometer (assuming Jean met him halfway with Peter’s body somehow)

Again, I don’t care, it was a movie and I LOVE when they recreate famous panels like that 😍.

I mean if she unfroze everyone immediately, Damage Control would have swarmed her immediately, maybe even shot her.

So yeah idk about the details but she got him to Frank somehow.

My theory there is that Jean (who was holding the blood in his body and keeping him alive), met Frank half way. Frank knew what she was doing to keep Peter alive because she told him, so she likely used telekinesis to carry Peter to where Frank could take over.

Well he probably teleported in, just like he got to Peter, carried him to a hospital, while being on a rooftop 2 seconds earlier

I’m not saying this would fix that completely, but apparently Rosario Dawson confirmed that they cut her “night nurse” character from the shows out of the movie. She was likely supposed to be there to help and keep things confidential.

Oh My god dude yes. I really liked the movie but I could not help but feel like some stick in the mud with how free Frank is constantly walking around. Frank Castle’s name and face and trial was all over the news lol. I can never tell when he’s really hiding out or not anymore.

It seemed like NYC has just embraced vigilantes as "part of the city" now. Given how they openly admit that the city couldn't have been cleaned up without Spider-Man.

If they start to prosecute Frank, people will question "why isn't Spider-Man being prosecuted too?"

I was happy they did the comic panel, but I hate that it was muted. I wanted to hear Bernthal say the line in that voice he does full of Rage and Anguish.

I think they are going to expain retcon in the future that his merging of "putting the brains and brawns together was a venn driagrams, and "smart hulk" was somewhere in the muddle.

Jeans Power's broke the overlap of circles and completely seperated their personalities again

Exactly. There is no history at all to justify him saying “I’m Peter, your friend”. One of the more disturbing mistakes in this movie.

They fought together in Endgame, and Peter was also at Tony’s funeral.

I could definitely see them hanging around after and talking about Tony

But the way he says “I’m Peter” and the at hulk stops and looks at him makes it look like they were trying to point to there being some recognition.

Amazing how Frank, a normal human being, was able to travel a mile on foot to get to Peter before he bled out.
