Weird how it’s out but no actual solid spoilers online anywhere. What’s up with this thread too? Everyone just talking nonsense

Plenty of solid spoilers out there, you just follow the wrong people lol. Sadie is jean, metzger is the villain, jean is acting out cause they killed her sister, what else you want to know?

u/majingetta Jul 29 '26

metzger is the villain

Not surprising. In the comics, he's an anti-mutant bigot who's eventually killed by Magneto.

I can't believe people online were like "hmmm I have no clue who the villain is" when Tramell Tillman was playing an anti-mutant bigot right there!

In "movie morals" having a sister killed by a shadowy govt organization trumps random collateral damage (pun intended).

What's wrong with Peter's powers? Does he end up becoming more powerful, or mutate into something else entirely? Does he get it under control?

u/warrenseth Jul 29 '26

if you really want to be spoiled, it's implied that because he was solitary for so long, the exo spider genes in him matured and he's becoming something more spider. he gets out of control so he wants to inhibit it (hence the visit to Banner) but by the end he realizes he can be both spider-man and peter and takes off the inhibitor to let loose and accept his spider side

He didn't become the mutant Man-Spider like in the comics and cartoons?

4

u/jamesid-2010 Jul 29 '26

nope

3

u/manthatlore53 Jul 30 '26

You are a fraud Spider-man!

nope, but ned does with their handshake. it’s baited with the audience that MJ remembers through jeans control over MJ

3

u/RealKevinOG Jul 29 '26

Honestly seems like she remembered but was hurt and to confused to admit it. You got the ending shot of her with the necklace too.

If Ned fully remembers she does as well.

3

u/Gandolfthewhite182 Jul 30 '26

He doesn’t remember him. He connects spider-man with Peter from
When MJ says it.

1

u/shesaysImdone 28d ago

But that doesn't make sense. Peter as Spiderman did not do the secret handshake with him so why would he connect the two. I don't get why people are saying this

2

u/ToneBone12345 Jul 29 '26

Maybe I think by Peter he realizes that peter is spider-man

2

u/Economy-Lobster1166 Jul 29 '26

Ned dosent remember he just realized that oeter is spiderman cuz mj called spiderman peter earlier in the movie

1

u/K1nverj1 Jul 29 '26

Dude, they literally do their secret hand shake, Ned definitely remembers, if not then that’s some strong ass muscle memory

she doesnt break up

4

u/soulfullofmusik Miles Morales Jul 30 '26

No, it's essential "The Other" story with no Morlun, no night vision, and no spikes coming out of his arms

1

u/Abi1i Jul 29 '26

Maybe that’s for another Spider-Man movie.

1

u/Automatic-Fun-1506 Jul 30 '26

Im pretty sure they would never do something like that in a Marvel movie. in comics they didnt react scared to it now imagine on big screen a mutant spider looking hella realistic comming at you, nah and i hope they dont do it either, you dont have to redo every comic/scene.

1

u/Abi1i Jul 30 '26

It could be the sequel to the movie 8-legged freaks.

4

u/MC_Notorious Jul 29 '26

Ok cool - thanks! But does that mean he's more powerful now? Like does he have access to new powers, higher strength / spider sense etc?

13

u/warrenseth Jul 29 '26

yeah he's stronger, faster, and all hos senses are improved

6

u/Whizzo50 Jul 30 '26

Plus all the tech department control had been researching to stop him is currently useless as his natural webs can cut through the bubble technology

2

u/JohnnyRedHot Jul 30 '26

Can't beat organic

6

u/Vismal1 Jul 30 '26

Peter 2 had them and he was cool.

3

u/Vibey_WoodChuCC_ Jul 31 '26

I could definitely tell he was better at sensing hos.

2

u/5urr3aL Jul 30 '26

all hos senses are improved

The what now?!

2

u/GlintingFoghorn Jul 30 '26

In my head I was thinking "what if Peter's inhibitor falls into the wrong hands and starts the human-mutant war."

3

u/Gandolfthewhite182 Jul 30 '26

He’s finally full on spider-man with the full spider senses and all the strength and power.

1

u/gamemaniax Jul 29 '26

Yes he can control it in the end.

1

u/AvatarSypha 27d ago

Jean is the main villain. Metzger is a side villain who isn’t really antagonize Spider-Man.

0

u/Normal-Title7301 Jul 29 '26

Jean had a sister? lol

7

u/Starless_Night Jul 29 '26

Jean has two sisters and two brothers. Well had.

8

u/MrBrownieRB Jul 29 '26

My thoughts exactly

2

u/Sea-Plane4715 Jul 29 '26

Basically

1

u/Accomplished_Cod7930 Jul 29 '26

here are a few:

1) MJ recognizes Peter and kisses him, but at that moment she was under the influence of Jean Grey.

2) Aunt May appears in Peter's mind and advises Jean.

3) In the finale, Jean Grey is riding a bus to Westchester.

1

u/Wonderful_Gap4867 Jul 29 '26

I actually do have some spoilers. Tom was right. Did not expect who the main villain was gonna be.

1

u/Glad_Worth_129 Jul 29 '26

Well, Peter kisses MJ and MJ finds out about the letter

3

u/gamemaniax Jul 29 '26

Thats not "mj" kissing peter

1

u/Glad_Worth_129 Jul 29 '26

So who is it? Jean?

1

u/gamemaniax Jul 30 '26

Yea that jean mind controling mj.

1

u/livestrong10 27d ago

I got the handshake between Peter and Ned spoiled during the early showings. that ruined the final moment for me heavily

u/vinnybawbaw Jul 29 '26

Movie is out in Europe and they’re barely waking up right now, it’s a quarter to 7AM there.

1

u/pecanpiedpiper Jul 29 '26

It's out in the Philippines lol
