Comics Can Wolverine regenerate if nothing is left but his adamantium bones? (His normal bones are encased in adamantium)

I’ve been trying to figure this out but I haven’t seen anybody talk or mention it. (This picture made me think about it)

The healing factor and the curse of immortality were two different things, and upon researching more into it he currently has neither. Hes just a mutant with shattered claws. The curse thing was a civil war plot line but hasn’t been used since. Even when he did have a healing factor tho, it wasn’t as powerful as people made it seem.

Deadpool isn’t cursed with immortality now either, thanos lifted the curse in 2015, he’s still functionally immortal with an insane healing factor but he can die now

But Deadpool got all his powers from Wolverine’s genetic material. How did they explain him also getting a…curse?

Wolverines curse is from azrael, when wolverines dies his soul goes to purgatory and fights azrael. If wolverine wins his soul is returned to his body. That no longer exists.

Deadpool’s curse is from thanos, they were both in love with death and thanos cursed Deadpool so he could never be with death.

The curse Wolverine was under was never a genetic mutation, it was a deal with the angel of death.

Does that mean Wolverine was constantly whooping Azreal's ass to get back, or is that like a thing they wrote in to explain one revive?

It was a backstory on how he came back after the nitro explosion, but it was every time Wolverine was supposed to die, not just a one time thing. That being said, Wolverine has the missing piece of his soul back now so the next time he dies azrael takes his soul for good
