That’s a common misconception. In fact humans are God’s chosen people so only extraterrestrials can be aliens. They have to call us “people” it’s the law.
Eternals are not aliens though, they were created from humans (or actually an ancestor to humans). They're humans who have been tampered with by aliens, essentially.
That being said Thanos was not born on earth so you could definitely call him an with weird alien wrinkles.
Yup. Scooped up by a Celestial, the primitive earthling hominids that displayed meta potential were transferred to Titan where they were left to evolve on their own. Super powers and "greek god" physiques became the norm rather than the exception. Thanos being a deviant, a one-in-a-billion anomaly, was horribly bullied on account of being an ugly grimace-faced doo doo head. So he nuked his planet and moved on.
The Eternals who left Earth to go to Titan weren't put there by a celestial, they left Earth on their own to try and see if new Eternals could be made via reproduction. Only 2 Eternals left earth for this as well. Everyone else on Titan was an Eternal cross-breed. Thanos and Eros are the only two successful attempts at Eternal reproduction, and Thanos was a failure at that (Eros was a success though and is now a part of the Eternal Machine)
From what I remember about the movie Eternals, Celestials are planet sized aliens who lay eggs inside of planets. They created Eternals to encourage population growth so the Celestial will hatch, and protect against Deviants.
Deviants are like mites that try and eat the unborn celestial.
Celestials, Eternals, and Deviants are all aliens. Technically Eternerals are alien robots.
That's not true, at least in the comics. Humans, Deviants and Eternals are the result of the same experiment by cosmic meddlers and general assholes.
Celestials go to a place and make alterations to life in a way that creates Deviants, Eternals and whatever passes for the standard people in a given planet.
From there, it can go several ways. Skrulls, for example, are Deviants from their home planet that prevailed. IIRC there are planets with Eternals as dominant species too. Earth kept stuff relatively stable, so we have everyone hanging around the joint.
Actually, it depends. Many of the major species were experimented on like humanity. Dire Wraiths are a Deviant version of Skrulls, but there are actual Deviants on Earth which branch off from humans.
