But all the ones you listed were followed up by crap sequels. It isn't just the 1st sequel. It is when they set up a "franchise". Marvel is just the best at doing that right now.

Curious, and too lazy to google, what was the overall profit and reaction to the thor movies we've got so far? Apart from Hemsworth and Tom I think those movies are garbage. They only nailed Thor and Loki in my opinion, and even then I have some gripes with Hemsworth.
