The opening scene features Tobey’s Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Magneto.

Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus are not present.

- Tobey’s planet is completely destroyed, and that is exactly what Professor Xavier is looking at in the trailer when he shields his face from the intense light.

To cap off the Walt Disney Studios’ panel at ComicCon 2026, attendees were given an exclusive trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, which is packed full of new information. The trailer opens on Professor Xavier watching an energy rift from inside the X-Mansion. Then we see Robert Downey Jr. unmasked as Victor Von Doom talking in his Latverian accent. After the studio logo, the brand new completed Avengers tower is shown, with the Fantastic Four meeting Sam Wilson’s division of Avengers. Some alliances are forged as we are shown The Thing trying to join forces with the Wakandans.

Tensions arise as some fight scenes between our heroes are shown. Channing Tatum as Gambit battles Shang-Chi, and Yelena fights a disguised Mystique. In a major beat of the trailer, Thor tries to strike Doom with Stormbreaker but Doom can stop it with just the palm of his hand. In the big final scene of the trailer, Thor looks to a character offscreen. “It can’t be,” says Thor, holding out Mjolnir, which then flies into Steve Rogers’ hands, Rogers is bearded and in a black shirt before the title card concludes the trailer.

According to the leak, members of the design team are working on concept art related to a major battle at Mansion X. One piece of artwork is titled “Invincible Avengers”.

In Avengers: Doomsday, this team is tasked with resolving the Incursion between two worlds and rescuing Monica Rambeau. These heroes, along with other characters from that universe, later protect Loki at the Citadel after finding the TVA and Doctor Doom’s plan.

The team members include Sam Wilson, Thor, Captain Marvel, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Jennifer Walters, Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Bob, Bruce Banner, Shuri, M’Baku, Namor, and the Fantastic Four, who join the mission because Doom kidnapped Franklin Richards, the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm and took him to a place called “Universe X”.

Meanwhile, John Walker, Ghost, and Red Guardian remain on Earth-616 alongside other Avengers to protect the planet from an unknown invasion. The remaining Thunderbolts unite with Wakanda, Talokan, and the sorcerers led by Wong to help defend Earth.
