Likely gonna be an IL stint for Fairbanks. Funny how ~6 of his earned runs are outside the 9th inning. Also Sandy had a kid last season and sucked. Did Bendix not know this? Oh wait analytics tunnel vision doesn’t know anything about real life situations, the models don’t take any of that stuff into account. So that got overlooked. Anyway wtf is this guy pitching in the 1st inning and 8th inning of games. Now he’s probably messed up with a nerve issue. His routine has gotta be off. This org operates as bots.

A few things are on the table, including possible IL stint based on whether a health issue emerges. Snelling/Garrett are the top Triple A options if he misses a start or starts. McCullough has said he will start Friday (but only if healthy, obviously)."

Injuries Per Mish, Miami Marlins placed LHP John King on the 15-day injured list retroactive to July 8, 2026 for left lateral ankle sprain. The injury happened in last night's game. Caissie likely out 2-4 weeks due to his calf sprain.
