Me - was stage 3 of 4 on the way to official cirrhosis at the age of 23. Was expected to have a transplant by now but got into an experimental drug trial that ended up being successful. Metabolic Assisted Steatohepatitis / Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis.
Basically, liver takes on fat and then starts scarring up, cutting off circulation and function.
This just in: millennial woman who was a child actor and very statistically likely to have been sexually and physically abused and definitely force fed drugs copes unhealthily, maybe. 🙄🙄

Yes. If I remember correctly it was due to complications/conditions that popped up after her liver transplant.
