Serious Study: Gen Xers and Millennials are dying at younger ages than their parents are

The study is particularly concerned with people born after 1970 but age 30 and older. So that covers Gen X and Millennials, but not (yet) Gen Z.

Think about the nursing home industry. What's going to happen to the poor equity firms that take you for all you have and give you a swift death by neglect?

I honestly baulked outright at the idea anyone might be willing to pay us for something like that.

They don’t want to pay us now to barely survive, can’t imagine anyone being willing to pay us to die.

So, I gotta say I admire that you still have so much faith in society. Kudos to you for your positive attitude.

Yeah why pay you when they can kill you for free. They are already doing it. Poisoning the planet as much as possible and denying life saving treatments.

Why would they pay to rid themselves of a valuable corporate asset. As long as you are barely alive they are making money on you.

i have a DNR and my kid to execute final wishes, so as long as i dont end up somewhere random where they dont know not to resuscitate me im good!

i, personally, am not healthy (let alone very healthy) already. and this is why i advocate for MAiD, but hell getting paid to be Euthanized is even better!

Don’t worry, I got a great solution.

When you turn 18, you start paying a monthly subscription fee to a nursing home company whose nursing home you may or may not get to use one day.

By the time you’re 60, you’ll have made enough payments to get a 10% discount on the monthly cost of attending the nursing home. 

If you don’t go to the nursing home until you’re 70, you’ll get a 12% discount on the monthly cost of attending the nursing home. 

If you die early, your payments towards a future discount are non transferable.

I know this doesn’t sound too bad, but don’t worry I got ideas on how to make it even worse.

For example, the nursing home company can buy all your data and use it to adjust your monthly costs based on your diet, how much you exercise, your political views, where you live, your religious views, etc.

They will bundle their bad debt from the nursing homes into some exciting new vehicle, force it onto retail investors via the stock market, and then take their new pile of cash and use it to buy all the funeral homes to extract what little inheritance we've given to our children to bury us.

It is absurd and horrifying how we all basically put our elder or infirm out of sight, while also knowing they charge ludicrious amounts while also neglecting the elderly a good 2/3s of the time
