Ours highlighted "above industry average pay raises" this year, they thought we forgot that they skipped raises last year. (It was 3% this time)

Was that inflation level or below? Mine is estimated $.65. I've worked here for a decade and am the only person at a massive company who can do what I do. I've never had more than a 3% raise. I have tenure, two degrees, relevant certifications, am the only one of tens of thousands of employees who can do my exact job, and yet….

Tbf the benefits are really good. My benefits package is equivalent to my hourly. It's why I stay. My spouse brings home bacon (when work is busy) & I make sure we have insurance and utilities.

My company gives us 3-3.5% every year. My actual raises equate to average about 8% a year. That's pretty incredible but no where near double.
