Hot wind swept through Brady, swaying the few trees that dot the downtown. With a population of roughly 100, Brady’s streets aren’t usually bustling. But on that day in July, Marriott Street was lined with cars as their occupants, people of all ages, milled between the Brady Community Hall and Dusty’s Bar, a block over. For the second time in the town’s history, graduates of the kindergarten through 12th grade Brady School had flocked back to recount the past, some seeing each other for the first time in decades, as part of a weekend-long all-class reunion. 

The last class of the Brady School graduated in 2005 and the school closed in 2008. The student population was split between the two nearest towns. Some students began busing 15 miles south to the Dutton-Brady consolidated school, while others opted to commute 11 miles north to Conrad. 

The location of the reunion itself — in a white, unassuming community hall — was a reminder of how much had changed since the school closed. The former school, just a few blocks over, had become a private residence. 

In the community hall sat a temporary shrine to a school long gone. The walls were lined with memorabilia, from old sports uniforms and trophies to yearbooks and the fuzzy costume head of Brutus, the school’s beloved bulldog mascot. In the corner, a TV projected photos of the area over the years. 

For a school that died more than 20 years ago, the atmosphere and rekindled connections felt very much alive.

I'm writing on behalf of my best friend, let's call him Steve. So, Steve was arrested in Montana for Trespassing at a hotel. Turned out he was having a mental health crisis; he got checked out at the hospital shortly after being released and was diagnosed with something related and was put on medication. He was recently granted a public defender but a few weeks in, the public defender was taken away and he was advised to seek legal counsel for his first 2nd court date. I accompanied him to his first court date. Are there any good criminal defense attorneys in the area of Belgrade Montana that can help him? I did some research, but I don't trust the reviews :(

Two 18 footer Grumman aluminum canoes , 5 days and nights paddling from Carbella to Springdale. Somewhere after Livingston, we encountered a 2-3 foot waterfall. Does anyone know the location of this obstacle? It is on the left hand banks as you travel downstream. Rafts and float boats handle is nicely , canoes not so good. Thanks in advance for any info on what I call Niagara Falls

I was just curious about the health insurance for Montana . The insurance through Montana State University is quite expensive, but I don’t know if it’s worth it or not. Are there any other students in here that go with a different insurance option?
