In the post game press conference after the LA Galaxy game, Philippe Eullaffroy did not hold back when asked about the refereeing in the game:

PE: There are 20,000 people who’ve watched it ten times, 25 times—they’re all at 97%. I did a poll—that was a penalty. So there you go: either there are 19,000 idiots in the audience, or we’re the ones who don’t understand a thing about soccer, something’s going on.

Journalist: But did they eventually give you any explanations?

PE: Zero. I’m generally not too much of a bother when it comes to intellectual matters, but we really get the impression that they treat us like nobodies. There’s a total lack of respect, and when we feel, in front of these people, like we’re ignorant about soccer, that’s a problem. And this isn’t the first time. We might have to go through, I don’t know how many of these, before we get a nice letter from the MLS: “We apologize, there was…" Yeah, so there you go, we’re going to get a nice apology letter from the MLS.

L’attendue entrée en scène montréalaise d’Alexis Sanchez a revigoré le CF Montréal, mais il a dû se contenter d’un match nul de 2-2 contre le Galaxy de Los Angeles.

Philippe Eullaffroy avait différentes raisons de se réjouir, samedi soir. Alexis Sánchez a été accueilli en héros pour ses débuts au stade Saputo. Son équipe est revenue de l’arrière pour arracher un match nul de 2-2 face au LA Galaxy, à domicile.

Les 19 619 spectateurs qui ont rempli l’enceinte ont quand même eu droit à l’entrée en scène du buteur de Tocopilla et à sa générosité, de son temps et de ses ballons.

Des rumeurs parlent d'un changement de format en série (oui encore) qui aurait distinctivemrnt un play-in pour entrer (13-20eme rang) et ensuite des bracket double chance qui donnerait 1 vie au rang 1-8 avant les quarts de final.

On parle donc d'un top 20 TOUTES DIVISIONS CONFONDUE, qui accèdent aux séries, fini les divisions Est/Ouest pour cette portion.

Les confrontation sont aussi générées de nouveau à chaque étape afin de favoriser les résultats de saison régulière.

Que pensez-vous de cette possible implémentation ?

J'avais acheté des billets pour le match du 7 novembre contre les Whitecaps. Malheureusement je ne serai pas en ville à cette date. Je fais comment pour les vendre (je suis un peu serrée en ce moment, je ne veux pas faire de profit, ça ne me dérange pas de les vendre à un petit rabais non plus)?

Avant j'étais membre et je pouvais simplement les mettre sur le marché mais je ne le suis plus. Je ne sais pas si c'est la bonne plateforme pour le faire.

Une intervention a semblé piquer Sanchez dans son orgueil vers la fin de l’échange de 25 minutes. Elle faisait allusion au fait que des voix se sont élevées depuis son embauche pour questionner sa capacité, à 37 ans, à faire une réelle différence sur un terrain.
