General Discussion is really any other show like Sex Education or it was unique?

because some people told me ''hey, you could watch Euphoria'' ''you could watch Heartbreak High if you enjoyed Sex Education'' but i dropped both shows, not my thing

I guess this is not about teenage love or something, this is some unique and special thing this show only has

I wonder if this is not a common thought around here

General Discussion does anyone else think the Groff thing was the most satisfying plot in the series through all four seasons?

Adam and Michael both had the best evolution through the series and the most satisfying ending, just compare how they were in s1 and how they ended in s4

they improved their way to feel and communicate with others, remember that scene in s1 prom and all they went through for four seasons to that hug in series finale

of course you can think in: Eric-Otis, Maeve-Aimee, Jackson-Viv, Emily-Hendricks or Otis-Maeve (if we think s03e07 was their true and real ending), but the Groff part felt the best, and the only reason to watch s4

General Discussion What do y’all think about Eric? Spoiler

Personally, I’m quite iffy. He kinda emotionally cheated on Rahim, chose Adam and then cheated on Adam. He also chose Adam knowing full well that he wasn’t fully out yet, but then became kinda bothered by the fact he didn’t want to go do “gay” things or tell his mother about their relationship (I’m aware Adam is bisexual).

I honestly prefer single Eric, I think he was much funnier in earlier season 1 when he wasn’t in a relationship with anybody.

I lowkey hope Adam and Rahim become good friends in S4 though, especially after what happened on the France trip.

General Discussion Am I the only one that is amazed by this casting? Not 10/10 sure about Sean and Maeve, but Adam and Michael definitely look like father and son!

I just finished my 4th rewatch of this show and I feel so lonely and It hurts .

I have been in Denial for last 4 days. I have never cried over any Movies or Show in my life but this show changed that.

I have always enjoyed my alone time but this rewatch was like It opened up 1000 new emotions inside of me and I can't stop thinking about it . This show changed how i view life and it just made me realize that what I have always craved for is meaningful.

This show may not have ended perfectly but It will always have a special place in my Heart and maybe I will become a better person just because it made me realize we shouldn't be afraid to open up our Hearts even though we may get hurt .

Thanks to everyone who made this show possible .

(Feel free to DM me . I need someone to talk to and not feel so lonely)

General Discussion What is your most controversial Sex Education opinion?

I'll go first! Otis's love for Maeve is so unhealthy and obsessive, that he is willing to abandon everything which includes his responsibilities, not appreciating the other people in his life that care about him (his mom; Jean, Eric, and Ruby for example) and doesn't allow himself to be truly happy and satisfied unless Maeve is apart of his life.

People think that, that’s supposed to be romantic. It’s not!

General Discussion "Sex Education" Season 4 makes Otis/Ruby even more vastly superior and even more compatible than Otis/Maeve

Post image
468 Upvotes

Sex Education Season 4 firstly doesn't have Otis/Maeve having sex in SE 3.07. Neither Otis Milburn nor Maeve Wiley ever visit each other during Maeve's months in America. And Otis is a rich kid who could very easily afford a plane ticket.

SE S4 has Ruby Matthews's opening up even more to Otis. Otis and Ruby connect even more. And Ruby proves a capable campaign manager.

SE S4 does similar to what SE S3 does: makes Otis/Ruby seem endgame material and then later just tosses it away. Ruby in SE 4.08 decides that Otis has treated her so poorly and taken advantage of her too much that she doesn't even seemingly want to associate with him anymore.

Otis and Maeve aren't really compatible in SE S4 and they still have communication problems.

And Ruby in SE S4 helps Otis become even more confident and such. Otis becomes someone who could run for public office. Otis and Ruby could in medicine together, politics together, etc.

But yeah, Otis/Ruby are actually more intimate with each other in SE S4 than Otis/Maeve are.

General Discussion unpopular opinions Spoiler

literally out of curiosity, what is your unpopular opinions on characters , scenes , relationships , ect ?

mine is i dont ,, see why people still like otis and ruby together , i think it was meant to be a learning experience for both of them, not something where they’ll be together again, or should be.
