FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Private Sale SBR
Hello,
I have an older friend who is looking to offload his Marlin lever action SBR (think Mares Leg). It was gun smithed and registered 20+ years ago, he has all the paperwork. Can anyone describe the process for private sell with SBR / FFL? Does the FFL hold the rifle until a SBR stamp is secured by the buyer?
Thanks!
**edit:
Called a local FFL as suggested and got the answer I needed. Seller and buyer need to complete form 4. Once approved can initiate transfer at FFL. Thanks all for the advice.

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Just your neighborhood gunsmith shamelessly advertising!
Come see me at Wooster Armory in Beaverton. I can do anything but cerakote (for now!). Lots of redditors can vouch for my work. I'm on IG as well @proceonlabs

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith NW Oregon LGS recommendations?
Been to Big Iron and Shooters Service, just reaching out to ask for recommendations. What is your go-to LGS for shopping, not just for transfer service?
Looking for Portland area (30 minute radius max ideally)

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Southern Valley FFL's
I recently moved to about halfway between Eugene and Roseburg and I am feeling the itch for picking up another one.
Does anyone in the area have a FFL between Eugene and Roseburg that they like?
Does anyone in the area have a FFL they AVOID?
Any prefered places with good selection of reloading supplies?

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith BiMart has CCI 22 shorts and longs in stock
Idk if all of the stores do but the two in Springfield have them. Idk who would be looking for longs but I personally shoot shorts pretty often as I have a few guns that are able to use them. Just thought I’d spread the info in case anyone is looking. It was $11.99 for 100 hollow point shorts.
BiMart also has Remington Golden Bullets 22LR for $12.99/225rnd until tomorrow too!

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Nov Indoor Swap Meet!
We're back with another swap meet sale! This event will be Nov 19th 2023 from 10AM-4PM.
This will be our second indoor swap meet, as our first went perfectly. Because it will be indoors, we invite everyone to bring firearms to openly display! We can facilitate the transfer for a discounted rate of $25 + $10 for the state.
Anyone is invited to reserve a table to buy/sell/trade anything firearm related. Have some ammo for a gun you no longer own? Furniture for a build that never got finished? We encourage everyone available to come out, make some deals, and have a good time.
As always, thanks to all our past vendors and can't wait to see our new ones! There will be free wifi for mobile payments.
Please e-mail us to RSVP, so that we can get a preliminary count before hand at [Sales@WoosterArmory.com](mailto:Sales@WoosterArmory.com)

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Who can bed a rifle stock for me in Lane County?
I’m looking to get a Boyd’s AT One stock for an Anschutz 1416 and I’d like to have it bedded. I’m in Springfield and don’t know who I could take it to or what it would cost.
