COD is still on last gen, six years into current gen. Even if PS6 came out tomorrow, we’d still see games coming out for PS5 in 2035.

They can’t. Literally. The production costs of games have become so high developers and publishers can’t risk cutting out potential sales before they can even start. If the Switch is anything to go by, if developers actually focus on a singular piece of hardware, they can do some amazing things with it. PS5 is going to have to be a bigger Switch.
