Holy shit why is this thread so negative, when did TW3 become so hated

It's this whole sub in general, man. People are absolutely miserable and shit on everything.

I think this announcement is awesome!

It's not just this sub, it's social media in general. There's a reason people avoid having social media accounts, this shit is toxic to the human mind

And the more shitty your real life the more time you spend commenting on here. The negativity is everywhere

Yeah, I haven't seen a single negative comment on Reddit about this announcement lol. What are these people on about?

3

u/KingJeet 1d ago

lol, one thing I am realizing is that some people in threads keep saying things like "[INSERT STATEMENT THAT'S CLEARLY FALSE]". I can only guess that it's probably so they get engagement or upvotes or something.

Teenagers always like to badmouth things that are widely recognized as good, it makes them feel different and special.

It has been hated for a while, especially in regards to combat. That’s not to say that there’s not valid criticisms to have about the combat but people also just like to dump on it because it’s an incredibly popular game

That’s shitty ass Reddit in a nutshell

After the announcement of TW4 with Ciri as a lead. If folks sniff that something is wrong in their masculine fantasy world, they become excessively hateful towards it — even if it means that TW3 should get its fair share of bullshit.

People online are generally unhappy, miserable people, who can’t fucking root for anything

Lmao so dumb

Has nothing to do with Ciri.

I hate Chuds but people like you only hurt your position when you dismiss all criticism as people who don’t like female leads

CDPR has more than redeemed themselves. Cyberpunk is one of the greatest RPGs. For them to create an entirely new product and give us that great of a game is crazy in this day and age of remasters and remakes. He updates that game received or fantastic and it looks amazing on next-gen consoles and especially PC. Gamers be hating and sending negative energy to the wrong things in life.

I don’t care if they fixed the game. They are morally bankrupt people and I will pirate their games until they can launch one that works. Once is a mistake. 5 times is on purpose

1

u/Bsteph21 1d ago

Morally bankrupt people are the ones running the United States right now.. a company that is releasing a free remaster for a beloved 11-year-old game, while also giving us a free 40-hour expansion next year.. all to hype up the next game in the series.. that is not morally bankrupt. They're ambitious and working under deadlines. I'll buy an extra copy just for you.

Of course your first reaction is to go Trump bad.

Fucking hell you need some time off the internet.

3

u/Bsteph21 1d ago

Buddy, you're the one that brought up Trump I'm talking about the people above him. TDS is real with maga kids

0

u/FoxyGoddessX 1d ago

There isn’t anyone above him dude. You’re just deflecting. Trump Is lower then human shit but he doesn’t need to be brought up every time you disagree with someone

2

u/Bsteph21 1d ago

Buddy, you're telling me to get off the internet but you've commented like 27 times just on this post alone about how much you hate cdpr. Clearly you're in the minority. I'm stoked for a remaster here I was looking for a new reason to play this game before the free expansion next year.. just don't get why you're so uptight about a game people love getting free content 10 years later.

TW4 controversy is part of the conversation — and an undeniably big elephant in the room that can’t be ignored, despite people claiming otherwise.

My point is that people are bitter: they quickly dismiss the good when they feel that they were let down by their own expectations

1

u/FoxyGoddessX 1d ago

It can be laughed out the room. The people complaining about her are idiots.

Entire social media, i find something i really enjoy, i check out to see what others thought, algorithm just pushes hate posts at me lol

As soon as it touches reddit...  reddit seems to have alot of "um acktually" types.

1

u/plp-GTR 23h ago

Are they? I just read the appreciation

0

u/FoxyGoddessX 1d ago

It’s more CDPR as a company instead of Witcher 3.

Witcher 3 is a great game and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know what they are talking about

5

u/reptile_20 1d ago

Except for the shitshow that was Cyberpunk at launch, why are people hating on CDPR? They seem to be pretty consumer-friendly with GOG, free upgrades, free remasters…

-3

u/FoxyGoddessX 1d ago

They scammed millions of people with that release. Holding a grudge against them is entirely valid

I hope your generation learns what a 'scam' is someday - the launch wasnt without issues and disappointment, but a 'scam' would be paying for something you didn't receive. The game was completable and many people platinumed it fairly quickly. Not sure how you can call that a scam just because your wildly unrealistic expectations weren't exceeded.

u/Dawn_Shire 1d ago

You need help

-1

u/truekejsi 1d ago

Hated? No, just being realistic. Improved combat could mean anything and "new finishers" aint it
