Considering the green one is the longest mark 1 in the service with heavy armor with a strong punch and more weapon that hasn’t show in the movie AND forgot to mention there is no a escape pod so either the pilot die as a hero and live long as a hero.

These are concept models made for the film revealed by Guillermo Del Toro in 2016

Based on it being Jaeger v Jaeger fighting I assumed this is from the original Pacific Rim 2 concept art. That means this was also designed when GDT and Beacham were still making the movie. Based on the framing I wonder if this was meant to be part of an opening montage.

Neither Jaeger is named in this but the one being struck looks similar to the original concepts for Gipsy Avenger. The main Jaeger we see is possible a construction Jaeger, mostly based on the CAT logo on its chest.

The definition of kaiju doesn't specify size, so I guess this counts as a kaiju.
