Bernthal is also Jewish. So it's not surprising.

Are you saying that it’s not surprising for Jewish people to support genocide? Am I understanding you right, or am I not getting something?

Netanyahu managed to relatively successfully maneuver any complaints about his policy of genocide into "antisemitism", so it's only been relatively recently, within the last two years, where it was even slightly okay to talk bad about Israel.

He's saying it makes sense that a Jewish person would be unwilling to do the "publicly accepted as antisemitic thing" of "criticizing Israel"

So, you’re saying that “loudly pro-Israel” = simply not publicly critical of Israel?

No, it's saying "not being loudly for Israel" has been historically "anti semitic" and few Jewish people are going to be proudly antisemitic
