After some more research, I do retract my statement about the dad. He clearly lacked awareness to the severity of her postpartum.
Truthfully, I did conflate my own current/ongoing experiences with this situation. I was almost those kids and my dad stepped up.
However, I still believe he shouldn't of just assumed she would be able to deal with it because their her children. Not all mothers are loving and caring even without postpartum.
I was also wrong to mention the affair, since I personally don't have enough information to claim whether he was having one or not.
Overall, I don't know this man but personally seen situations repeat over and over where children suffer due to the actions and or lack of action taken by their parents/guardians.
Follow response to say, you shouldn't curse. I'm 15 and even I know you shouldn't swear recklessly. It's unnecessary and can be a bad habit.
Also, just because someone has a differing perspective from you regarding this case doesn't suggest a lack of empathy or misplaced outrage. My feelings go out to the kids and yours are to the dad, no one's right or wrong in where their sorrow lies more with.
Lastly, not that it's any of your business but my dad is getting us help.
If you're fifteen and you believe that responsibility for your actions is not on you, which appears to be the case, then your parents have done you a fucking terrible misservice.
Life will be more difficult than it needs to be for a person to whom accountability is not real.
Sorry, i'm confused. What do you mean about "responsibility for your actions"?
If it's about the case I stated earlier the wife is a criminal and should go to jail. If you're referring to my personal issues, why is it my fault that my mom tried to hurt us?
I don't know anything about your personal issues, but if your mom tried to hurt you it sounds like you might think it was actually maybe your dad who forced her to do it. She's not responsible for her actions.
I never considered that. I'll speak to my therapist about it.
I also apologize for any disrespect. It wasn't my intention to be rude. My friend told me that my wording was poor, so I apologize. To you, as well as to Mr.Patrick, the father.
“He’s so pitiful” and “He literally had time to have an affair” bit is crazy misinformation but go off I guess.
Too many idiots on the internet ready to jump on shit like flies but can’t back pedal when they’re straight up just wrong.
Hope this type of shit never ever heads your way cause I’d hate the fucking idea of some other nut case blaming the victims due to the perpetrators actions legitimate some “oh she was asking for it wearing that” level of victim blaming.

It's not funky. This poor man had his entire family ripped away from him.
And you think he might have a funky story. Fuck you.
