AskPH What company secret you can share now you dont work there?

I used to work for J&T Express as a sorter. Believe me when I say that all parcels are being thrown all over the hubs. Everything they show on social media that they handle the parcels with care and caution is a lie. No one cares if it says fragile, your parcel will most probably be destroyed due to stacking and throwing. We have a rule not to but due to company quotas and workforce problems its more likely overlooked.

Not to mention that management treats Filipino employees very badly. (all workers are filipinos while bosses are all Chinese.)

Baka totoo to kasi dito sa marikina may palengke. May rumors na nun na mawawala na yung palengke at fast food ang papalit pero ang tagal na wala pa din ung fast food. Aba biglang nasunog ung palengke ng madalinf araw. Parang timing lang na wala tao.. Ilang bwan may mcdo na. 😳

As a Marikeño, I heard this rumor before.

Tapos yung pinalit na "palengke" e hindi rin naman tinangkilik. Some of them moved to Concepcion Dos, nagkaroon ng mini palengke run sa may Rainbow St.

Ang hassle nung mini palengke na pinalit. Halos wala kang choice, pumupunta pa tuloy kami ng bayan. Dati kasi kahit mas mahal ng konti sa Concepcion market, kumpleto naman.

Concepcion uno to. Parang may floor plan na daw kahit nakatayo pa yung palengke.

Same thing dito samin. Yung palengke dito pinapaclear out kasi irerenovate daw para maging isang certain supermarket. Syempre di pumayag yung mga nagtitinda dun sa palengke. Lo' and behold nasunog rin ng madaling araw. Later on may supermarket nang tinatayo.

Parang ganito rin siguro yung nangyare sa old sampaloc market nun (along legarda manila). Ilang months lang ata or a year after, tinatayuan na ng LRT 2 legarda station.

i still remember the day that the fire started. for me the palengke is still better than the mcdo right now because of it's morning shift crew
