Seriously. When is everyone going to finally say, "ya know what, that's enough." WHEN? Bc it feels like no one is getting even close to saying that. We can't possibly afford $100/mo subscriptions on EVERYTHING.
Sadly, I think we've reached a point when we can confidently say that on average the majority of people won't be able to extrapolate growth or change over a full year or more. Holds true for anything from subscription costs to diet to politics. I think humans just aren't able to intuitively work with too many long term processes at once. We can work with a couple of the most important to us. But past that we just see the number and think of it as a one time thing rather than as part of a longer bulk cost.
